Ok some boob ass named Filmore first tried to bribe his way into a smn burn as a gimpy 16 whm. Then goes on to say his friend was coming to Diaga our mobs if we do not pay said friend 100k, but oh sinc e Filmore was there the friend would not. Goes on and on about this and how his friend makes millions a week forcing smn burn groups to pay 100k to not Diaga their mobs.

Anyone have a play do this to them? Has anyone had dealings with this stupid ass taru?

Ah yes. Haven't had any blackmail experience with him but Filmore is a tool. My experience with him involved my running through SSG to get to Norg on my whm (/anon mind you) with the other member of my party, a rdm. We were hurrying to get something done, so were both /anon. He had sent a tell to the rdm after examining him asking him to invite him so he could cast refresh on him and the rdm had already passed where he was and basically said "Sorry, no, I'm in a hurry." As I'm running by the guy, he examines me, and then when I'm just about to Norg, he /tells me "Haste Can I have it?" I tell him "No, I'm sorry," and zone. I proceed to get tells from him about how people are so arrogant and rude and obnoxious. I said "Oh really? So we should all just fuck what we're doing and drop everything to give you a three minute buff? How bout you try partying with a whm or rdm?" He kept going on and on about what a bitch I was to not come back and give him his 3 minute spell until I blisted him. He's certainly not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Actually, calling a GM on him would have been a smart move. From what I've been reading, Gms seem to care when people fuck over Smn burns.

GM's WILL do something about it if said player is "causing an annoyance" even after a fair warning has been given to them. If this was the case Keryan, you should just call a GM if he threatens to do it again.

Think that only applies if theres OTHER exp parties trying to exp without SMN burning though, cuz then that would count as "grieving or antagonizing" other players..........will have to look into it.

Where they take about 4 SMNs and level sync to a specific level, then have a 75 RDM or PLD pull mobs and link them into one big mass, then have said SMNs all Astral Flow and kill said group of mobs for massive amounts of exp.
