As the set bonus here seems to be +5 resistance per extra piece after the first is that safe to assume the magey cobra set is +5 MACC per extra piece after the first?

Not really safe to assume anything. The first two pieces of the Fourth set, after all, had no set effect at all.
 
Well, when I got the first two pieces of the I.R. set, they gave me the elemental resist bonus, even though the set wasn't "complete." I'm guessing that so long as there are only 4 pieces (now after the update), that wearing all 4 or a given set will give you the set bonus. This goes away, I'm sure, when the release the 5th piece.

I'm very impressed with this update, and depressed at the same time. Going from having every piece of gear you wanted for a given gear setup to now missing some very good pieces is kind of a /sigh moment. That new Avalon Breastplate will certainly replace Valor/Gallant+1/Homam body in three separate gear loadouts =/

I had the first set bonus active with Head and Hands, just got on this morning before work (couldn't get on last night) and picked up the Hose...additional 5 resist given for them. So the set bonus doesn't go away, you get a further bonus of it.
 
Why aren't more people commenting on how I'm a item now?! ^_^

Also, Reprisal is 1 min duration, 3 min cooldown. 24MP

Yikes that sucks, lol. Just tried it on a colibri (all I have time for before work)...100% shield block for that minute (besides evaded attacks obviously), effect is like a spikes damage. Colibri was only hitting me for 10-20/hit, so the dmg wasn't huge, but still made me happy.

Just the 100% rare/ex item needed for the 2nd tier of NM's dropped. Re-popping when ??? is up. Hopefully will get the Garuda head thing.
