Heh. I don't mind. My series favorites are 4, 8, and 12. I probably won't fall deeply in love again until Final Fantasy 16 if the pattern holds up. I was highly entertained watching Twitter explode with the news and all the howls of fanboy outrage that Final Fantasy 7 wasn't being remade.

This went a long way toward convincing me to buy a Vita at some point, but what really sealed the deal was realizing they'll probably port over Final Fantasy 12, which is the one I really want.

Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars isn't too shabby for a turn-based strategy game. It's not in the same league as Advance Wars or Final Fantasy Tactics, but it'll do in a pinch. I also enjoyed Lego Star Wars, but it's mostly just hack-and-slash-and-use-your-force-powers.

I'm a proud schmuck. Love my 3DS and don't feel cheated at all, but I'll gladly take the free games. Giving me Yoshi's Island and Metroid Fusion is a good way to make me happy.

Got mine yesterday and had fun messing around with it. I bought Lego Star Wars III (thank you, $25 Amazon credit) and could definitely get used to playing games this way. Now we just need James Cameron to authorize a copy of Avatar so I can watch it in 3D. lol
