To the schmucks that bought a 3DS at the price of 250.00 USD.

I'm a proud schmuck. Love my 3DS and don't feel cheated at all, but I'll gladly take the free games. Giving me Yoshi's Island and Metroid Fusion is a good way to make me happy.
 
Yeah, not like the people who bought it prior to the price drop aren't getting the 20 free games.
I'll wait until the drop, but the GBA games are going to exclusively be for the early 3DS adopters, or the ones who bought before August 12th, as of right now they aren't planning on putting them on the eShop, and hopefully one of the GBA games will be Minish Cap for those folks.
I still have my GBA copy and a perfectly capable DS Lite of playing it, among other GBA games.

Hell, I'd be an early adopter alone for OoT 3D if I had had the cash to spare.

Nintendo would be stupid to not put the games out. People should feel cheated for spending 80 dollars more when the games are out on eshop and aren't covering the 80 dollar price tag. If it were more games developed specifically for the 3DS that would be more worth it considering there's been anything out for the 3DS with the exception of OoT and SF4.

Plus there's always other ways to get the games for free.
 
Holy shiznit O.O 20 free games? <3 Oh Nintendo. You might not have my favorite games for awhile, but you're still a classy publisher/developer :)

And hmm, not sure if my 3DS has connected to nintendo's shop yet.. I should do that soon cause I don't wanna miss out.

Btw, 10 bucks says this price drop is due to not only it's popularity, but a lot due to the NGP/PS Vita coming out in the fall priced about the same as the 3DS and looking pretty strong.

Due to lack of popularity, unfortunately. They're lowering the price because they're not meeting sales targets.
 
Guess who's getting a 3DS in December?

See because the next few months are already full of games I plan to buy, and December's the first month where I'll have no other games to spend.
 
If Nintendo thinks they are getting schooled now, wait until the big guns like EA finally get Apple's attention to launch an AppleTV 3 with a fully featured game console

I am going to be purchasing one of these when the price does drop.

Besides Zelda, are there any games that are worthwhile to buy? I know there is Street Fighter 4 and Pilot Wings, but other than those 2 games, I really do not know what else is out there.

Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars isn't too shabby for a turn-based strategy game. It's not in the same league as Advance Wars or Final Fantasy Tactics, but it'll do in a pinch. I also enjoyed Lego Star Wars, but it's mostly just hack-and-slash-and-use-your-force-powers.

Apple already made one.

It's called the Pippin :P I believe it was one of (if not, the first) CD based console. I could be wrong though. Can't remember the exact year it came up.

Oh ya, I can't freaking log on to the internet with my DS >.> guess I should check Nintendo's website and figure out how to get the damn patch to even get onto the store or whatever. Kinda stupid that stuff wasn't shipped with the initial release of the 3DS. Frustrating :(
 
So how the hell do you get the browser to work with the 3DS? Or how can you even get on the store with the 3DS? >.> I'd like to get on before I go and it's being stupid. Grr at them for not having this shit ready on release. I mean, I have no wireless router at my house (I personally hate wireless for the most part) and ya :\ at least PSP it's easy enough to hook up to the computer and upgrade if needed. I can't see any way to hook up the 3DS >.>

Well I got the 3DS for my birthday last month at the high price point, but I'm extremely happy and very impressed with it. I also received Zelda 64 for my bday and that was refreshing as I haven't played it since its release date. It's nice to play a classic game and get stuck in it not remembering what to do!
 
Walmart is suppose to drop their 3DS prices today (the 9th), two days before the ambassador cutoff.
Just in case you want to have your cake and eat it too.
 
I surfed over to the GameFAQs boards and had to laugh at the righteous indignation on display. Some of those guys are really angry that the "Scambassadors" could get a cheaper 3DS and the free games. Life is too short. If I didn't already have the 3DS, I'd be running out to Wal-Mart in the morning to do the same thing.

Just picked up my 3ds and I am loving it. Zelda is amazing and looks great.

I updated my 3ds and connected to the estore. Before that I registered my 3ds to my nintendo club account. Then linked the 3ds to my account. My question is, am I an ambassador because I did not get any notification.

Is there one? Or am I supposed to assume I am an ambassador?

Loving the 3d. Only played pilot wings in target as the demo. Everything is sharp and beautiful. I am very happy with it.


I will post my fc as soon as I find it bahahahaha.

If you've connected, you're an ambassador. They sent out a Street Pass notice a few days after the announcement to let us know, so it's possible you'll get one as well. Download a freebie like Pokedex 3D if you're paranoid, but you should be good to go.
