  • I was kidding, I don't really deal with them lol. Funeral directors that are into selling Pre-Need contracts usually become insurance sales reps because they can make money from the comissions. Our funeral home policy with paid pre-needs is that they are done through paid anuity that gaurantees that the expenses will be paid for despite any inflation to the cost of the services.
Yes, it is a dismal trade.

We also deal with those pesky insurance people, what in the hell.
Well, at least its something. Last week I spent 5-6 hours surfing the internet because we had nothing to do here. At least we have three funerals this week, so I can actually...do things.
I'm scanning photos, so I can get away with browsing. This person's last name is Anakin, how awesome is that.
Oh and to answer a question from a week ago, lol. Yeah I don't mind The Fray. I've only heard How to Save a Life and I like that one.
    P
You made $100k before taxes............................ shenanigins (sp!)
Its fine Kotsu you weren't there and all you had to go on was that one PM, its cool Kotsu I have no hard feelings or anything towards you =p.
Yeah. Having Westbrook on my cash league fantasy team didn't make me real happy. I was hoping that if the Steelers went down, it would be because Westbrook went for like 200 yards and 4 TD's, but for me it was lose-lose :(
Grot Shamman - I'll be the healer for the group. And I'll just keep the one i've already started on, goes by the name Tunta :awesome:

I'll be getting out of here in about an hour and a half then jumping ingame to say hi for a few hours. Going fishing with me padre later.
I think all jobs require talking to stupid people. I've dealt with a few dumbasses, oddballs, and drama queens that make me wonder what is wrong with our species, but then you get a few clients where you think "Okay this isn't so bad."
What kind of boring job do you do? I like working in the funeral business because its a different thing every day. Familes are all weird and kooky, services are different, embalming can be challenging lol. There are days where we sit around and wait for someone to die, and I shove things in envelops, but over all I enjoy it.
I do have MSN, but I can't use it at work D:. I'm here until 9 PM. Bleah. I pop in and out of QCDN when I get a chance, which kind of sucks, but at the same time doesn't. I like being able to get out and do other things that sit at a desk. Like driving the hearse :awesome:
I posted a (small) update in the original thread on the Reality board. Thanks again for your support, I managed to raise $335 for the walk (over 3 times the amount for the average non-corporate walker). :)
