Depends on the style you're using. If you're using worksafe or blackmage, you will have to click on your name. If not, you should have notifications on the top.

The new BLM style will have the notifications in it.

Gasp! Miros looks at my profile. Hey how do you normally look at your own visitor messages?
I always just click on myself at the bottom of the page, or in a thread and view my own profile. Is there an easier way?
