While dalmatica does not play to BRD's abilities, it is quite useful in many endgame situations. BRD isn't just a singer, they are a support job. The extra Erase, ~na spells and curaga IIs from bards shouldn't be overlooked, as that support can win a fight, or help make hate management a lot...
