mermaid

So, I was exping in SSG on BST, when I got a drop called Mermaid's Body. I'm not exactly sure what it is for, it's rare/ex. The description says something like it's really a dead opo. I dunno. I tried looking it up on Alla but got nothin, so... Does anyone know what this thing is/used for?
