Mermaid's Body?

[Lecan]

So, I was exping in SSG on BST, when I got a drop called Mermaid's Body. I'm not exactly sure what it is for, it's rare/ex. The description says something like it's really a dead opo. I dunno. I tried looking it up on Alla but got nothin, so...

Does anyone know what this thing is/used for?

Really? I thought the Tonberry Lantern pieces (for Upper Elshimo beastmen treasure quest) were the ones you needed for the Mermaid Ring... :?:

[Sneakypants]

There are 3 ( I think 3 ) different beastment treasure quests.

There are a couple of different treasure options you can do for the Mermaid's Ring. I just bought mine - it looked like too much of a pain in the neck.
