Just because I'm wondering... how many of you people still have your level 1 newbie gear? I know I've still got mine, so I'm curious to how many others still have it.

Is it normal for parties to ask a mage to join them, wander out into dangerous (for the mage) territory and then disband, thus stranding the mage and making it difficult to get to safety without dying? That's happened to me two or three times. Learning from my experience, I'm going to hold off...
