Um... k? Can anyone spot the odd parts?

Hello, I'm pretty new to this game, just hit L12 WAR, and I have chosen blacksmith as my sub-job. Can some of you help explain synthesis to me, as in what you need, what it will turn into, what level you need to be to do it, etc. 8)

Hey, me again with a question. I was making Butterfly Axes this morning to turn into Inferno Axes. During the process, a made a couple of Butterfly Axe +1. I was wondering, if I use those to make Inferno Axes, will the result be +1, even if it's not a HQ result or will it produce a regular...
