100 Reasons Fanboys Hate (system)

I love that people don't have a problem with the PC, XBox, or Nintendo hates XD kinda funny to me

Um Legend of Dragoon was amazing...i think your friend hated the battle system as you had to time pressing X or O (or was it the square?) button at the right time to contiue the combo your character started...it was original and the story kicked ass....

other than that i lol'ed once or twice

Really, a lot of those lists were just retarded. Fanboys were reaching for ANY reason to hate a System. I could only make myself watch the Nintendo and Sony one.(Got confused when they said DS sucks then said the PSP wasn't a DS)

It's like HEY GUYZ, THE SNES SUCKED CAUSE IT DIDN'T HAVE PS3 GRAPHICS.

Dumbasses.

I think you might have missed the memo.

That was continued in FF9, and FF9 also got mixed reviews, albeit the majority were great.

I loved both games.

It was original back when the game was called Super Mario RPG.

Well your friends are wrong.

QFT

LoD is my favorite PS1 RPG. I played through it three times in a row when I first got it.

LoD has got to be one of he most underrated RPG's in existance. Its easily in my top 5. Ive never played an RPG with a combo system like it, besides SMRPG and vagrant story*, and its just one of the things I loved most about it.

I want to ask, though, how can anyone say the battle system is boring when nearly every other RPG is "select menu, push button, watch attack." The combo system actually keeps battles interesting, even if you do master them.

*and vagrant story was a completely different game. But still good, nonetheless.

I think he meant 8 with Zell and having to use R1 to get boosted damage.

oh, I wouldnt know because 8 is one of the few that I didnt play. I tried to, but the disc was scratch and I could get past a CS with some explosion and people flying everywhere. Was near the beginning on disc 1.

I didnt bother to find ff8 again after that. Everyones voiced hate of the game just turned me off.

Well Zell's ability was a lot like Sabin in 6 where you have to enter a certain combo to get a big combo off. Then you had to time R1 to get a damage boost sort of like in Lost Odyssey with having the use RT to get a boost and releasing it at a certain point in the ring.

Due to fear of being left behind, people learn to hate what they've come to love. Woe Sheppard, woe !
