...............

:shock: :cry:

Man.. Ish. I'm sorry to hear that. I wish you the best and I hope you make it through this time alright. Losing anyone that close to you, like a parent is always pretty devestating. ; ; *hugs* I hope you'll be alright.

I'm sorry to hear that Ish, I hope you and the rest of your family is ok.

Deepest sympathies to you & yours, Ish.

Good luck.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. I've had two relatives die within a few months of each other and that was very hard to deal with, but none were as close as a parent. The easiest way I've found to deal with it is to realize that death happens to everyone, and life will always go on, regardless of wether or not you, your family, your friends, or any individual on earth dies. Though you won't have anymore new memories with your father, you'll find a greater appreciation for those that you already have and can always pass those on.

No matter what anyone says, you will always miss them, and it hurts a great deal, but they'll always know that you love them.

Ish T.T I'm so sorry... that's horrible. I hope he passed away peacefully atleast and I hope your family and you are alright.

He died very quickly.....as for pain, the doctors lied to my family and said it was painless, but anyone with remote medical know-how would know their statement is a load of sh-!t...don't really wanna get into details on that though, sorry.......

/comfort...

I spent the summer helping my best friend through the death of her mom and grandmom I can see through her how this is something that is simply beyond my imagination right now

Prays for your and your family

Wow... . sorry to hear that Ishy.

I remember from another post that this has been coming for a while. I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

Nothing can ever replace a parent, especially if he was a good one, which I'm sure he was from the way you speak of him.

The hard part is over, his suffering is gone. Don't feel sorry, be happy that he isn't suffering anymore. Celebrate the life that he lived and don't let his passing keep you from living your own life to the fullest.

My thoughts are with you.

I'm really sorry to hear that Ish. :(

Father

He never made a fortune, or a noise
In the world where men are seeking after fame;
But he had a healthy brood of girls and boys
Who loved the very ground on which he trod.
They thought him just little short of God;
Oh you should have heard the way they said his name –
‘Father.’

There seemed to be a loving little prayer
In their voices, even when they called him ‘Dad.’
Though the man was never heard of anywhere,
As a hero, yet somehow understood
He was doing well his part and making good;
And you knew it, by the way his children had
Of saying ‘Father.’

He gave them neither eminence nor wealth,
But he gave them blood untainted with a vice,
And opulence of undiluted health.
He was honest, and unpurchable and kind;
He was clean in heart, and body, and in mind.
So he made them heirs to riches without price –
This father.

He never preached or scolded; and the rod –
Well, he used it as a turning pole in play.
But he showed the tender sympathy of God.
To his children in their troubles, and their joys.
He was always chum and comrade with his boys,
And his daughters – oh, you ought to hear them say
‘Father.’

Now I think of all achievements ‘tis the least
To perpetuate the species; it is done
By the insect and the serpent, and the beast.
But the man who keeps his body, and his thought,
Worth bestowing on an offspring love-begot,
Then the highest earthly glory he was won,
When in pride a grown-up daughter or a son
Says ‘That’s Father.’

Im so sorry to here that Ish . . . I know the pain of losing a loved one and I can say it only gets easier. Remember your fatehr loved you and he raised you. He will always live through you and never ever forget that.

You will feel better eventually, just keep safe and take it easy love.

My deepest apologies . . .

Jem
