Merciful Cape can be obtained by trading Vice of Antipathy to NPC Meret in Tavnazian Safehold. The Vice of Antipathy drops from the NM Ix'Aern (MNK type) in The Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi.

Altruistic Cape can be obtained by trading a Vice of Avarice to NPC Meret in Tavnazian Safehold. The Vice of Avarice drops from the NM Ix'Aern (DRK type) found on the first floor of The Gardens of Ru'Hmet.

Astute Cape can be obtained by trading a Vice of Aspersion to NPC Meret in Tavnazian Safehold. The Vice of Aspersion drops from the NM Ix'Aern (DRG type) found on the second floor of The Gardens of Ru'Hmet.

Prerequisite for obtaining these is to complete the quest "In the Name of Science" for Yurim in the Safehold.

because the wuest NPC is in Tavnazia, the NM itself is in sea. And since we are the only ones who do sea on a regular basis we are the only ones that have gotten that, atleast as far as I know. She actually got the item required for that cape a long time ago, but she didn't finnish the pre-quest untill today/yesterday XD

Actually, because of the hurricane, a lot of people got CoP almost a week after the Japanese players.

Wrong. You have to go to the garden and find a ??? in a aern room, click on it then start killing aerns. Have everyone in pt click on the ??? after every aern dies. There's a really low chance of the Ix to pop. It's taken from 15min up to <I'm Sleepy> to pop these.
