1st rdm insult

i was lvling summoner in dunes and i had a blm frined lvling rdm with me and some newbs like no one will want u in higher lvls and from 1-42 i have never been insulted as a rdm just i took that terribly when the 15 warrior/whm in party mode says that called him a newb /slaped him a few did a couple fights then had 2 go.... heck u barely see many warriors 35+ least i have only partied with 1 or 2 from garlaige upwards

I didnt explode! I was helping people to understand what he was trying to type to them. I didnt bother editing spelling, I just added a few key words and punctuation. Now, you can read his post as I think he wanted it to sound. :P

I hope I understand the original point, which is a WAR / WHM said to an RDM in the Dunes (of all places) that no-one will want to party with an RDM at higher levels. As an RDM, I certainly hope that is not true... For me, finding party is usually not a an issue up to now as an RDM. With Convert and Refresh, I just can't imaging the demand for RDM get any less in the future for me.

Oops, I'm sorry about the punctuation. ^^ I also have a very crappy keyboard which gets laggy and mispells things like friensd. ><

It's not true, After 41 people pretty much seek RDMs out because of Refresh. Plus a RDM, BRD, and PLD in the PT works just as well as a WHM when working together.
So yeah, RDM's only become more nessisary in my experiance ^^
 
Well

As a RDM, I can speak a little on this subject. I'm only 36 currently, and get plenty of /tells asking for me to join a group when I'm not seeking, heh. The fact that I have all my spells, especially Dispel, helps that a lot. However, it's my understanding that post-41 even a chimp at a keyboard can find a group, as long as he has Refresh, lol. Every time I've seen someone spam shouting in Jeuno that they need someone for their group, it's always been RDM or BRD they're looking for.

I think that if this WAR ever actually makes it past 25 and sees when RDM get unique spells and really start to come into their own, instead of being a "gimped WHM" he may change his tune. Or, he'll keep spouting his drivel, and wonder why all his parties suck and can never get good XP chains. ;)

People just like to trash talk in this game and see if they can beat you down. Not everyone does this except real idiots. I do not think it serves a party well to do this. Cause then the guy that is insulted wants to either brake from party or if he/she does stay, then its going to be nawing on him/her. That is not good because that person looses focus on his/her job. He/she is then either wanting to hurry up and get the party over with or thinking what the nerve of this guy. I always blacklist trash talkers. They do not serve the party well. Since I have started to level again I have blacklisted a few of them. Also I Blist the NA ones that hit lvl 75 and then come back lvling another job thinking they are "GOD". You know the types that think they have the right to lecture you on your job or what you should do. I always welcome advice and suggestions. Not rude cut downs and trash talk that seems to becomeing the normal thing here. It takes more then skillls to play this game, it also takes manners. If you want a party to work well and do well then manners are a REAL MUST.

A WHM with a summoner sub is an amazing way to save MP & HP for just about the entire party. Summoning Garuda and putting it away did an amazing job at that. Me being a RDM had less worries to deal with, and the whm had less to worry about too.

It makes me wonder how effective a summoner would have been as a first job, doing that. I can only imagine it would make for as even faster exsperience chain.

There are people that's been to higher levels and still don't understand the way it works. In some cases we just gotta put up with them.
