WSM, how else are people gonna find out how many beers I drank tonight?
80 btw...

I am so wasted!

Damn i should have logged on.We coulda had a good conversation in GM jail

LOL. Aren't you un-suspended yet? I thought it was supposed to be 24hrs...

Yusuke,

...

I had something witty to say, but WSM's post made it fall out of my head.

Oh well.

In this case I'd side with Yusuke, he got GM called by someone who doesn't fall under the "too young to hear it" category... kinda lame.

That's what got you suspended. Racial Slur that isn't blocked by the chat filter.

Yes, nigga is a racial slur.

i know not a single person here cares, but "nigga" IS blocked by the language filter, i know cause a buddy of mine came over to my place for a bit, and played on my PS2 while i was on my PC, in our party chat the word "nigga" was used, to which i saw "nigga" and he saw "?????" (that was long winded as hell, sorry)

3) Don't hate on Yusuke for his way of talking, I'm sure it takes just as much skill/imagination as the proper Englishe we're all taught in school. It doesn't make him lazy unless you are pessimistic, optimistically it's creative and gives cultural identity. Who cares if some people think it's lazy, most people who play this game aren't exactly busy all the time doing constructive stuff.
)I'm sure he has a regard for language around kids, yet who wants to burden themselves with worrying about the minority of kids younger than high school age being on-line. And if they are in highschool, they've heard worse.
)He's isn't boasting that he's the coolest guy here, it was all in humor.
10) Grow up or gtfo people.

enlightening

and this nigga wanna cry cuz i told him to mind his business and called him a bitch ass nigga.

Next time, take it to /tell and your problem will be solved.

I never talked much to you Yusuke, but you seemed like an allright brotha when you helped us out with Savage Blade.
I hope you can stay away from that 3rd strike.
Would be sad to see helpful people get banned, when people that are breaking worse rules than language abuse is roaming around freely.

peace bro

Amazing how thats all it takes! Guess everyone else didn't need to be in on a 1 on 1 conversation.

On a side note: I don't think anyone should be banned for the words they use in this game. We have so many filters that we can use to block things that we just don't need people in trouble for talking. If you swear the filter should catch it, and if you dont have the filter on, you made the concious decision to turn it off. If it's just 1 person in particular then you can B-list them. And if its a whole bunch of people, then you are in the minority and out of luck. The whole thing is regulated by the user. Since no one under 13 should be playing the game anyways, words like shit ass and fuck can be used and area already exposed to them through normal form's of media (perhaps not fuck, but they've heard it at school for sure). Really nothing should be so shocking that you can't handle it the first time you see it. I can understand not wanting to see a huge string of it, but thats what the b-list is for. Back in the day, GMs used to just tell the people filing the report to use the b-list, suddenly they decided to stop that in lue of jailing people?

What does annoy me is that GMs will take action for relatively minor offences like this, whereas they've taken no action everytime I've complained about people openly using 3rd party tools to cheat at the game.

Would be nice to see some priorities.

lol Do the GMs have e-mail addresses you can send complaints and stuff to? Bigboy has a huge point there.

if someone is a nice person I don't care about their grammar

but yeah, "nigga" is a racial slur, and you will be jailed for it. every once in a while you get someone that's spiteful enough to do that, which I think is kind of childish, but it still happens.

Well then I guess niggas gotta stop snitchin.

You know the key to any success in life is to respect others and be a positive influence in the given situation.

People don't generally appreciate certain slang, regardless of their race. yusuke knows this and generally doesn't care.

People don't respect others often times because of their choice in the use of their language. Yusuke enjoys the privilege of butchering his native tongue, and prides himself in the use of racial slurs.

However lest us remember that SE created the TOS for everyone to use and respect. It is a set of rules that are expected to be respected. Yusuke simply doesn't care.

Using the /tell function was an obvious choice, but something tells me that his use of /say was deliberate because he craves attention. It might be due to the fact that he feels inconsequential in real life. I don't know him..

Kids do play the game, I know of a few that aren't even minors. yusuke has shown repeatedly that he doesn't respect others, their rights, or their feelings.

Yusuke enjoys to speak on the subjects of profanity, racial slurring, illegal substance abuse, and the selling of narcotics. In some communities he may be considered a criminal or even something as minor as a nuisance. He is on my blist, and will remain there so he is of no consequence to me.

I for one, however look forward to the day that he no longer is an influence in any world I might participate in.

Welcome to America! Rapists and Murderers walk the streets freely every day, while someone who gets caught selling 100$ worth of weed gets locked up for a week (not that i deal with drugs, nor do i use them, but i dont look down upon people that do use a recriational drug every now and again).

I like Yasuke, even though ive never met him, he seems like a laid-back type dude that just doesnt speak the same variation of English that you and I do. If they lock your ass up Yasuke, ill post your bail bro

lol wakefield thats cool.. yea anyway sorry u got put in jail for simply talking to me in /say.. not your fault that a dude couldnt mind his own business but oh well.. anyway looking forward to seeing u in game again.. and be careful omg dont say nigga again because people get sooooooooooooo offended lol (sarcasm) anyway later dude

I tend to agree with most of that, I feel its more polite to speak in /tell to a friend or other player if they aren't in your party. Only time i'll talk in /say is if i'm talking to more than one person, and they aren't in linkshell or in party. It does bother me when people start having regular chats with each other in say because they're too lazy to talk in /tell and it bothers me that I HAVE to put on my filter if I want to ignore what they're saying.

People just have different views is all, there's ways to ignore people's chat like that which can be found offensive to some by using the filter/blist etc, but then again its just as easy for the person talking to one other person, to speak in /tell.

Anyone else disgusted at the drugs being mentioned...? I don't think we needed to know all that info... I sure as hell didn't want to be enlightened on that respect. >.>

Gimme a break, it's not like we were talking about black tar heroin.

and there was no plural, the only drug mentioned was weed. If weed disgusts you i'd hate to see what you think about any OTC medicine. :P
