20 Years of Zelda

lol i remember playing the first Zelda.
I was too young to really understand it but damn was it fun.

It damn well better be. I mean, I might sound impatient and bratty, but I'm usually very calm about these things. But Zelda? THE Zelda? C'mon... You can't make me wait this long without a little rant. I really don't mind that much, but it really is getting ridiculous now. Eh...oh well...Mr. Miyamoto said this would be the best Zelda ever. And, in his words, "A delayed game can eventually be great, but a bad game will always be a bad game..". Genius.

Anytime a game that I'm waiting for gets pushed back, I just think about how much better FFVII, a game a I love, would have been had they pushed it back. While it raises my expectations for the game I'm waiting on and sets me up for bigger disappointment, it also makes me less likely to kill a retail clerk when they tell me it's been pushed back.

If that's true, Duke Nukem Forever is going to be more perfect than JLH's soft supple breasts. Bloody game's been under development for 9 years now.

Ditto on Starcraft: Ghost. Blizzard's been making this one for about 4-5 years -.-
 
I heard its because they keep changing developers therefore they are unable to make up their minds as to what direction the game will go.

I've got two words and a number for you: Half-Life 2.

I don't care too much about Zelda being delayed, because that gives them more time instead of rushing it out like they would without delays, and would fix all the problems with the game, and even give them the chance to make new content.

Actually, the Half-Life series never caught my attention, funny that Counter-Strike did though.

Funny thing about the delays though, I keep forgetting the game even exists (or will) every time they delay it, that's probably why I didn't even have a clue they were making another Duke Nukem game.

As for SC: Ghost, I thought Blizzard dropped that idea like they most likely dropped the idea of Diablo III, until they need an oldschool cash cow anyway. They're so good at leading people on...

They are still taking preorders for this game? The local Gamestop stopped taking them when they needed a rubberband to hold them all because a paper clip wasn't enough lol. I managed to sneak one in before they stopped :biggrin:.
