I can't vote because I avoided almost all of those films.

By the by, great avatar. I <3 Gogo Yubari (Chiaki Kuriyama).

Thank you ^^ She was my fav. part of Kill Bill....little chicks that kick ass... /sigh we need more of em

I didn't see most of these either - but having seen many movies with some of these actors IN them...I figured I could give it a shot ;)

Anyway - enjoy <3

www.chud.com very nicely put into words how I feel about the Razzies

Razzies?

I am surprised that the Razzie Awards have lasted for a quarter of a century, especially in recent years where any of the creativity and water cooler worthy choices have been as common as Jesuits at a Sepultura concert. The Razzies are safe. They're boring. They're the worst movies of the year if you were to ask the readers of People Magazine. You know, the people who are more concerned about Brad Pitt's relationship with Jennifer Aniston than his film output.

How hard is it to attack Gigli? Battlefield: Earth? SHOWGIRLS?

The fact that these awards get any pub at all baffles me. The idea of an awards show to chastize the shit of the business is a wonderful one, provided that it pulls no punches and goes beyond the typical, expected fare. Basically, if a film tanks or gets bad reviews it's a Razzie favorite. Often, they attack films that tried their damndest but still failed which to me is far less of an infraction than not trying at all.

I'm not saying we could do it better. Yes I am. We could do it a lot better. It's just not worth the time.

Neither are the Razzies.

I like the razzies for the simple fact they that point out which movies are awful. The Olsen twin have most likely seen a few of their movies - yet...do they decide to take an acting class? No...why? Because they are RICH. ><

As an actor - even I get kind of sick of the 8 million awards handed out each year (People Choice, Golden Globes, Oscars, Emmys, SAG, etc.) as ANOTHER pat on the back t people who make 20million dollars for 3 monthes of (FUN) work. Most of us make crap money 40 hours a week at a job we hate. I love acting. But DAMN do we really need to glorify the same people 10 times a year? THEY ALREADY HAVE IT MADE!!!!!

That is why I like the razzies...knock em on their ass (and off their high horse) sometimes. Maybe the silver spoon will fall out of their mouthes.

Oh Jender I'm not insulting you, just putting an opinion.

I know why some people like the razzies it's just I think they'd benefit more from some less obvious films.

Like calling down on Sean penn (sp?) for winning Best actor for playing the exact same roll he played in all his other movies in Mystic River.

I nearly died when he took the oscar from Bill Murray.

There's so much bad shit in the theaters that people don't realize is bad, Razzies would be so bitchin if they called down upon hollywood's finest rather than idiots like Uwe Boll

OMG - I felt the same way!!!! I almost cried! :( Bill Murray doesn't get nearly enough credit!

Yeah - I can feel you - and I totally agree...they should knock down Hollywood's finest a bit. I am stoked that Halle Berry - who won best actress a few years ago is up for Worst Actress. /sigh Guess she has to have a racy sex scene in order to make a good film ;)

"Make me feel good. Make me feeeeellll gooooooood"

Halle just suffers from what a lot of actors do. Bad taste. She finally got to a point in her carrer in which she could choose what roles she wanted and she probably passed on an excellent role for Catwoman. Comic book and fantasy movies are all the rage right now and she was just trying to cash in. Oops!

Except she ALREADY cashed in on X-MEN....which are GOOD comic book movies IMO - maybe she shouldve stopped there

CAN’T STOP THE MUSIC (1980)
FROM JUSTIN TO KELLY (2003)
GLITTER (2001)
RHINESTONE (1984)
SPICE WORLD (1998)
XANADU (1980)

I actually have this on DVD. I saw it on AMC once and had to have it. It's one of those movies that's so bad it's good. I mean, it stars Steve Guttenberg AND the Village People. How can you go wrong with that combo?

OMG - LOL!!!!

I have that Love/Hate relationship with the musical GREASE 2 - it is sooooo bad it is good. I mean there are songs like "Let's Do It For Our Country" ("doing it" meaning "doing it" LOL) and "Let's Bowl Let's Bowl Let's Rock and Roll" HAHAHAHAH Michelle Pfiefer and Adrian Zmed - what more could you ask for in a cheesy remake?
