Anyway, the Sox exercised Tim Wakefield's option today for another year. Hooray!

It's far more exciting to actually witness a Championship. Unless they're 45 years old, they never really got to experience the thrill of it. The first real thrills I got out of sports were the Sox in 2004 and the Steelers in 2005. Those are moments I'll never forget. Now if only the Pens could snag one

Excitin' and cool, yeah, overdue, most certainly not. Compared to other teams in the league, the Phillies are very fortunate to only have had to wait 28 years. If they had been barking at the doors for a while overdue would be the case though, but they haven't been doin' that either.

Celtics lookin' sharp so far this year. Title defense thread incoming for the NBA season if they keep winning

Aye, I'm havin' a good time watchin' the Celtics this year, already. Their first game against the Cavs was fantastic. They weren't even playin' well yet but they managed the win. Who's Labron James again?

I love me some KG. In one season he rocketed into my top 10 favorite Boston stars. Currently #1 is Mr. Brady, #2 is probably Pedroia, I love that little guy.

Celts D is looking great, just like last year. Gotta work on their FT% big time though, we're shooting under 70% right now as a team, I think. 69.x% isn't gonna cut it.
