2009 E3 thread

I'm a huge beatles fan, enough to bring me back into the music game fold, but I am turned off by all this fucking DLC announced before the game is even shipping. It's a game designed around ONE BAND which means they could stuff all the relevant songs on the disc. 47 songs is enough to give us all of our favorite. Now obviously they're going to stick in a lot of shit and gauge us for our favorites. Fuck that.

I am not surprised but am still disappointed about the exclusive song... it's great that they're doing that song with the cash to charity, but they're going to make that an exclusive thing? It's just kinda, dunno. It's just one step beyond exclusive tracks which I don't like in the first place. The charity is doctors without borders, I find that ironic. Meh dunno, it seems like I'm the only one who gets annoyed by these kinda things.

Gotta say, MS' impressed me :P if they really produce instant HD 1080p movies and such. And some of the games seem fun but lol Alan Wake, Silent Hill much?

The "no controller" thing was cool hehe. I'd imagine it was bound to happen in the future though. Kinda thought Sony would try and bring it out first cause of the eye toy thing XD but meh, it looks fun. ONE STEP CLOSER TO HOLOGRAMS!

Today we have Nintendo and Sony and tomorrow we have Konami and Square Enix I believe.
 
It's gonna be hard for them to top Natal imo. I was so impressed with it that if they really get game developers making games for it that interest me (shooters, RPGs, the like) than I'm gonna buy a 360 right away with this and have so much fun :D
 
I like the beetles, but i'm really only buying the RB:Beetles game for those fucking sweet guitars. I mean FUCK those rock. Might actually have a reason to buy a wall-hook for them.

Look i am a huge Silent Hill fan and a larger fan of that type of game period.. Like Fatal Frames and Clocktower..

Alan Wake looks nothing like Silent Hill Elem other then the fact its dark and someone is missing...

It actually has a smooth combat system and is supposed to be one of the most story driven games we have played.

Illumination is your strongest weapon and the story unfolds as you find more and more pages from the story your character himself was supposably writing..

was screaming "Silent Hill" to me :P not just dark and someone is missing but that missing person is YOUR WIFE (also was in silent hill) and something about an evil that's been unleashed and light being important XD (light was important in Silent Hill, just in a different way I think) but ya, I'm not saying it's gonna be bad. I think Alan Wake looks awesome, but I'm not gonna deny it prolly had some inspiration from Silent Hill in terms of the setting :P which isn't too big a deal to me, I just hope it's got a crazy psychedelic story too XD
 
Hopefully Nintendo will have learnt from the suckage last year.

Nice, styled like New Super Mario Bros. for the DS, with drop-in drop-out co-op.
 
Well, not Nintendo developed but FFCC Crystal Bearers for Wii and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for DS looks awesome.

M&L3 for the DS also looks great.

but holy shit at them announcing Kingdom Hearts. This gives me more hope that a new PS3 KH will be announced today :D
