Looks like I'll be able to import Graces no problem now. Though it seems we're still in the dark when it comes to Vesperia on PS3 in the West as of now.

so is namco going to localize grace this time ?

I think more and more people just stopped caring about the series until Namco bothers to localize something.

Are those coming to america, or just new games that got announced?

Couple things to note.

* The New PS3 Tales title will have it's name officially revealed on December 16th. Furthermore that are putting all 15 years of experiences learned from every Tales game they had made into this new one.
* the "f" in Tales of Graces f stands for Future, as there will be a new scenario that takes place six months after the original end of the game called "Lineage to the Future". This scenario is supposedly around 3/4's as large as the original quest. Other additions are the usual stuff you'd find in an enhanced Tales port, new story scenes within the original story, improved high definition graphics, new game secrets, new character costumes and new Blast Calibers.

In other words. This is awesome.

localize will be even more awesome !

That reminds me...

One of the people from Tales Fans Unite managed to get a hold of these:

Hopefully spamming these guys enough with wanting these games enough will make them listen.

I don't get you guys. It's not about them listening. They hear you all loud and clear. Hint: $$$

We have been telling them that. Repeatedly. Many Tales fans are even prepared to buy the games two or three times because they love the series that much, myself included, I purchased Tales of Symphonia twice.

Think about it. There are barely enough "Tales of" fans to get a game every so often here as it is. Even fewer of those fans are goin' to buy the game 2-3 times (count me in there). It's not enough. Besides businesses don't stay in business by taking peoples (fans) words for things on a whim, that's how they lose money more times than not. If it was economically feasible for their games to be localized in English, they would do it, simple as that.

Unfortunately (because they make better games) this isn't Square Enix we're talking about. This is Namco Bandai, the hottest thing they have is Tekken (per release sale, not lifetime results) and it's not even hot shit compared to what it is up against. They know their place and you guys, since you are fans after all should be right there with them. A fan doesn't kick a horse when they're down, they support them.

I understand as a Tale fan it's not an ideal situation to be in. However, it greatly beats the alternative of Namco Bandai goin' broke and seizing to be.

Yup it sucks but that's the truth. A legion of geeks won't make the big wigs change their mind. All they're talking in meetings is money, money and even more money. If they think there is not enough profit to make to justify the localization of a game, they won't do it. Especially if time is rough for the company and that seems the case. The only games you can be sure to see around are the Ace Combat, Tekken, Katamari games since the localization of these games probably cost a lot less than a Tales in this case.

Not supporting the series anymore until they localize stuff.

They probably have no intention to localize any of these games and as such I won't lose a second of sleep over not playing any of these games.
