Perhaps, Insurrection worked on the same principle.
However the advantage there was that a lot of people in there have known each other for a long time back on Titan thus had a lot of trust in each other. (That backfired too though, long story.)
I would personally not be able to accept such a system with a complete group of strangers though.

In the end I am still the person that would rather work on a tiered/point based system simply because I want to know where I stand and have a leader call out where stuff is going.
I know no system is perfect, but a point/tier system has always worked out best for me.

No skype. He has MSN and Yahoo messengers, though. He also has Linh, who will generally relay messages. =D

I don't understand systems like that. They just promote people to get in, get their shit, and get out because they don't need anything OR get in, not get their shit, and get out because they're not getting anything. I am in favor of a tiered system or point system. The first dynamis shell I was in, SUDM, worked like that. And it had the biggest revolving door I've ever seen in a Dynamis shell.

Basically, I'm saying you should come do Dynamis with me cause I don't feel like I get to see your sexy ass often enough. :awesome:

You know, I have been in those shells before myself.
I have litterally seen people get their stuff, exit and drop their pearl to join another shell a week later.
This was 4 years ago though, when I was in my first dynamis shell.
Not long after that shell went to a point system too.

I have to secretly admit I have done that to one shell in my playtime in FFXI.
However I stayed for about 5 runs after I got my summoner's Pigaches from there and the reason for me to leave was because that shell could not even win Dynamis San d'Oria with 20+ people.
And because the leader stalked me when I missed a run once because I was fighting Fafnir at that moment.

Yeah, it is something that worked well in Encore because we knew each other really well, and most of us were established and only looking for specific pieces. Lot of newer people in Dumbamis though, so it's kinda bleh. But the shell was established more to allow the folks sponsoring runs to get done with their relic weapons and less around relic gear pretty much.

And I agree, I totally don't get to see your sexy ass often enough either! :wink:
 
I find the system works fine in his Limbus shell. Then again, we haven't recruited in forever, and a good chunk of the members in both are in SnB, so there's a lot of trust between us already.
 
Good afternoon all.

Got my wyrm belt in Dynamis-Qufim Saturday finally :biggrin: and we got the damned win too, in the 10 months since I joined this shell we finally won Qufim (albeit we haven't tried many runs, maybe 3-4). I really hate that Gigas ranger on crack and his aoe rock tosses.
I was ecstatic it wasn't another Bubu run this month.
Valkurm I've never even stepped foot inside but with this Qufim win think they are finally scheduling one for next month, *fingers crossed*
It's funny because near the end of the run a second belt dropped too, which went freelot ;; along with a COR belt.
 
So I finally got the grade I need to get into the MSAT program for masters. My god I am so happy that stupid GMAT test is OVER with!
