2nd Set of Seedspalls

So, I've been trying to farm the second set of seedspalls, but am having no luck getting food key items to drop. Anyone else having problems? I've had TH3 on 100+ kills in Batallia/Rolanberry.
 
TH doesn't help keyitem drops.

I was 1/5~ on two of them but 1/80 on the sauromugue one. Drop rate can be dumb.
 
hmm.... that's weird i sub /thf 2nd time around and got 2 of them 1st kill and the last was 2nd kill.. Also jussy gobs have a higher drop rate!

I thought gobs were the only ones that dropped O_o
 
I ran around with me on Dnc/thf and Nikoloi on Thf (TH3) for an hour and got nothing.

I headed here right after Qufim, and wiki doesn't say there is any in-between stuff; can anyone confirm this?

I got my 3 drops off of one gob, a raptor type, and a tiger.
 
its random, i got a 2 times 1/1, idk if it helps, but seems to me that goblin have higher drop rate
 
I've been farming them for 2nd..3rd..4th sets.. just to turn them in... for more augmented items hopefully. :) usually don't take that long. I don't think the Goblin Mercenary's along he coastline drop them tho... I usually get 2 quick and then one takes awhile, but I do hafta say i did not always get the message saying the key item dropped. This had happened to a few of my friends, and I had it in my Key items list. Might wana double check yer Temp Key Items.
 
I got the Sauro/Rolan drops in no more than 10 mins, but spent about 5hours trying to get the Battalia one.
 
i may be wrong but if you used the key items the first time to do th e mission and pop the goblin NM's you keep the food key items, youonly lose them if you trade them for whichevr key it is
 
I've not used them for the quest to obtain augmented gear. I haven't seen the drop period lol. I've also been spamming my key items (permanent and temporary both) in case I missed it. Thanks for all the replies, I'll keep trying.
 
If you cant get em ill go with you before sky tonight.
 
Just got Sauro, took me 20min. Got it off Goblin Digger right after I teamed up with someone else farming.

Edit: Just got Rolanberry after another 20min, yay! (Off of Goblin Shaman).

If you have never traded they key items to the gob in lower jeuno they will stay in your invo and you won't be able to get drops. Those key items are not seedspalls though, they are "food" key items.


You should, however, still be able to pop the goblin NMs, which drop seedspalls, and then the mandragoras to get the amber key. If you have traded them to the gob once you'll have to wait after next JP midnight to request again.
 
I got the batilla one very quickly with no thf anywhere but gave up on rolenberry one fter several hours of luckless hunting, having a big attendance for fields of valor probably didnt help either and others after the same key item no doubt.

If you have people in your party that have already gotten the key item does this hamper the chances of getting another one for someone else in party?
