3.7 Issues (Please read first post)

Hi gang,

Please post problems you are currently having with 3.7.

****PLEASE DO NOT REPEAT THE SAME ISSUE. READ THROUGH THE THREAD FIRST AND THEN POST IF YOU DO NOT SEE THE ISSUE BROUGHT UP****

I am miserable tonight and I have a huge headache, so I am just asking...please please stick to stating issues here. I know I have a crappy day to look forward to tomorrow. Until then, I'm going to try to get rid of this migraine!

The front page doesn't redirect properly for me with the right log in information. I have to misspell my user name in order to get an option to go to the boards. When I do enter the right information it doesn't redirect it takes me back to relogin.
 
Or if you are really lazy, you only need the /ffxi Everything after that is just extra work.
 
When I click one of these:

My page auto-scrolls to the top of the page. This was not happening an hour ago.


Also, I don't know if it's meant to be like this or not, but there seem to be some gaps in my User CP under Email and Group Membership.

Edit: It's no longer transporting me to the top of the page when I click the hide/reveal button. So I guess you don't need to worry about that.

Another alternative is to log in and let you forward to the errored page and head back twice(past the redirect page) to the home page with all of the stuff. Click Keylon's poll thread and replies and you should be logged in. I've done this many times at the library when I forget about the easier alternative above.

Also in night shift a bit of an old problem but, is there someway to make the view posts by person X more noticeable and different? Threads that I posted in a day or so ago still show up as orangish-red letters or new response but have no new responses in them. It's a trivial error of course, main reason I used qcdn 2007 because of the check posts by person X.

qcdn2007 style is still giving me a "your message is too short" notice when i try to post, even though they are way beyond 5 characters
 
I'm beginning to think we are going to scrap QCDN2007. I am getting a headache trying to figure out what's going on with it. :S
 
Yea, I'd rather not see that when we've heard for months about "Wait for 3.7, your problems will be solved then"

You're doing a good job getting to the errors, just wish you had a test environment to work these out prior to sending it out to all of us.

Falsey's still on "Read-Only" mode even in Nightshift. I'm sure there are others with the same issue. My estimation would be this is the most critical thing to handle currently.
 
Yeah I am also having issues when trying to rate people up. When I click the "Add to this person's reputation" it doesn't do anything.
 
please don't get rid of qcdn 2007, the errors mentioned are minor(besides read only) it still gets the job done for the most part. I think you're just trying to do it all to fast and with programming will give the programmer some serious hell. Just debunk slowly.

Same, also I don't get the "All About me" option where I assume you would be able to change these things, nor can I rate up. Using QCDN 2007.
 
Small Summary thus far:

Nightshift Problems:
*Cannot edit the about me section (mostly the instant messenger items)
*Not being redirected properly

QCDN2007 Problems:
*Cannot edit the about me section (mostly the instant messenger items)
*Not being redirected properly
*Continue to get errors that say your message is too short
*Cannot give reputation

Jamal - can you please explain more about Falsey's situation? I don't get what he means by read only in nightshift.

For everyone else, can we get some screen shots that show what's going on in QCDN2007 or Nightshift? It would help me immensely.

This is what was happening to Falsey from my understanding. Waiting for him to log onto messenger so I can see if it's still happening. He was able to post a couple times this weekend, so not sure if his issue was resolved.
