3 Chocobo Questions

1. Can a Chocobos learn abilities with Poor Discernment? I've been spamming Impatient Story so my First-Class STR/END can finally be somewhat better than a Rental, but to no success. Even during this current period of increased Focus and excess stamina, allowing better chance and more stories per day.

2. Are Abilities inheretible? I'm pretty sure they aren't, but just wondering.

3. Ever since the increased stat growth patch, has anyone come across Brutus on Long Walks? My current Chocobo is on Day 75, and I haven't met Brutus even once. See Pulonono all the time, but no Brutus.

1. No, Chocobos cannot learn abilities with Poor Discernment and I don't know of anyone who has learned with "Substandard" either, but that might be possible.

2. Yes, abilities are inheritable; however, your chick will only inherit (1) of the (2) abilities that the parents have.

3. My chocobo was 129 days old before it was "forced" into retirement and I never met Brutus. I did get the "Story of the Diligent Chocobo" for the Treasure Hunter ability though.
