I seem to post here too much but tonight was definitely the best GC pt I've ever done.
Came back from seeing my Raiders(lol...) beat Philly and ding! invite. I'm a little into 34, really want 37 to finish but to be realistic, that is unlikely in standard pick up PT's.
PLD, BRD, WHM, MNK, SAM... I like I like, so I accept and head to garlaige.

What ensues? A little under 6k/hr (nothing ASTOUNDING but pretty damn nice) ending with 21k exp. We dealt with a manaburn RMT PT camping on us. It was fun letting them start to cast then /ra the mob >.> I think Elizabeth liked me... she kept asking to kiss me XD. In any event, I actually parsed to see how Thf faired in a balanced PT. I was pretty amazed.

They were not STELLAR, but not gimp.. the acc is tough because they were all 32-33 when we got there. What got my attention however..

I like my crit rate. Now factor SATA = crit.. Take off 124(number of fights) I'd guess MAX of 1/3 I managed two SATA (rarely did they last more than 20-30 seconds as IT's) but consider the 70 skills are all not counted as crits so that fight went without SATA.

Not really a "zomg epeen" thread.. if I wanted that I'd have snuck in more SATA's for higher %. No idea on anyone elses food but I stuck with Squid Sushi+1 until last 2 hours I dropped to Sole.

Was a lot of fun, I'm sure they, if they browse, will mention it as well. :D We even did merit pt tactics of train pulling on occasion to keep the RMT from getting any. <3 Bard..

I'm almost sad I'm done with thf. 34-38 in that PT.

Oh, I get why you were getting mad at my party just killing things now. You wanted to make your Epeen as big as possible. Well here is a shocker for you. Get used to minimal DMG until you get back there at 48-49 to fight the bats in the basement. Or you can find a RNG and a DRG that will static with you and go and unleash some hell on bats across the land. No PLD will join you though because of the fact that bats hurt them good and no NIN will join because bats kill them.
 
Not too bad. I think I'm one of the freaks that actually likes GC and isn't in a hurry to run to CN. It's definitely a good spot for Thfs, who are already the top notch DD at that level.

I had to pull all the way from Banishing Gate at times from entrance camp... damn RMT pt pulled 2-3 mobs, the guy died.. some despawned, they killed one.. that and we killed mobs in like 30 seconds per fight... on IT's. I barely got to sit and melee more than 10 sec cause I had to go pull ;p


And Shaun.. I simply asked if you could stop... we were contending with RMT as it was so you killing exp mobs opping RIGHT by us was kind of annoying.

and lol@ the rest... 1: Since when is epeen related to pt's exp/hr? I wanted everyone getting the best possible.. not me to do the best.. whatever it is you're talking about.. and where did I complain about dmg? After SATA and a WS from Sam or Mnk the mob was at 30-40% hp on IT! mobs. No DD problems. And mostly, any pld afraid of bats should quit the game. Jet Stream is still damned weak at 48, I'd know I had a pld AND nin for diff PT's there numerous stimes. I bet War/Ninx2 would even be able to tank them.

Am I the only person who likes Garliage? I have had some damn great parties there.

My only problems are the holes in the ground. You're trying to run to your party when 'Flavor of Love' comes on and you look away for one hilarious and trashy second and all of a sudden youre being mauled by mobs a million levels higher than you. ::grumble::

BULL FUCKING SHIT

Bats dont kill ninjas. There's no way. Jet Stream only takes 3 shadows, and at 48 you shouldn't be having shadow troubles at all. Any Decent ninja can tank bats as easy as they can a beetle, its easy no big problem. I'm sick of people saying "ZOMG multihit WS NINJAR WILL DIEEEEE!!!!!!" That is so much bullshit. There's this crazy thing called recasting shadows, people should try that some time.


Now back on track.

Grats kitty. I <3 Garlaige too, you should have said something, i have two jobs @ 33 atm.. I could have xp'd with ya :D

Well that's the way I feel too, the only problem is that alot of other people don't feel that way. To be honest as I've been leveling THF I want to fight bats all the time, and I love when I see a DRG seeking because of the SC ability and the natural boost that THF DRG and RNG get from fighting bats. The problem I run into though is 90% of the people that are the same level as my THF don't want to go to a peircing DMG area or just don't know any better than CN >> KT>> CT. Normally the biggest voice in opposition is the WHM, and the tanks usually will follow the WHM with anything they say, unless they actually have a mind. Granted some of the better bat camps are a little out of the way, but if you have a DRG/RNG/THF in your party the fights are so fast that the only complaints people can honestly make are that you are going to fast and they need to piss, or something like that.
 
i happen to like garlaige citadel as well. its great when you have a whole bunch of experienced players just pushing themselves to get it over with. grats on the pt windy!
 
I have bad memories of pulling there and falling through the holes...

I know ._. but a lot of people like the whole SA WS thing when they have a Thf to clean up after with SATA.. They don't notice the +atk, benefit of Berserk or Double-Attack at 50x.x
