Idk I don't really blame him. It's not the first time he's been screwed over like this. If I were him I'd be worried that the next class I chose to lvl would be nerfed too.

They'll get their buffing soon They are working two classes at a time to strengthen the others UP to shaman. It's cool they didn't nerf Shamen though to even the field. Maybe SE should take some notes

Ya from what friends told me this update hit him pretty hard. He went through hell Lvling DRG gimped (not by gear but just the gimpage in general) then comes to RNG to have a badass end game job to watch it get nerfed.

Jonas had a charitable static that held his hand and got his ass up to end game.

I lvl drg without static and manage to hit 75

Like they did after the DRG gimp What a bunch of nerfaholics. I've been around for every major MMO and this is by far the worst nerf in any games history that I can think of. Knowing players and minds this will cost them a lot of money on future MMO's. They need to develop the mind frame that nerfing doesn't balance shit....making more abilities for the useless classes is balance. Much like their close friends over at Blizzard.

Wow. Please get a grip, grow a brain, and actually learn about updates for other MMO's, because this is by far NOT the worst gimp in history, and FFXI has had a comparatively MINISCULE amount of nerfing done in its entire life span so far. The only reason it seems so bad is that unlike other devs, who gimp single abilities frequently, SE just completely revises one thing at a time after long intervals.

Check out EverQuest's progressive series of nerfs. -.-'

Also. Making more abilities for the "lesser classes" = making the game too easy. Or would you prefer adding new/better abilities and then making all the game's mobs harder?
