After the success of Sin City (in both hardcover and movie form), Frank Miller has decided to turn on of his comic masterpieces into a movie. It's called "300" and you can check out the trailer here.
Most of the movie was filmed like "Sin City," the actors are usually next to a large green screen and the rest of the image is edited in later on. It looks highly stylized, and comic book-esq, which is a huge plus. Check out the blood in one of the first action scenes (the boy punching the boy).
It depicts the Battle of Thermopylae and the events leading up to it from the perspective of Leonidas, king of Sparta. He and the rest of the Spartan's face an almost impossible task for 300 vs an entire army.
Oooo, I get chills just watching this trailer.
