Shit dude, I was trying to get into law enforcement in my home town (a small town) and was told point blank by an officer that "Honestly, unless you are a Native, there aren't really any openings". They had 2 positions available for almost 2 years because they needed to hire more "visible minorities" (the only "minorities" were Native where I was - they made up about 75-80% of the towns population... I think they need to look up the term minority).

Glad I moved. Although, where I live now I'm still a "minority" lol.
