Reks, Azalea, Tanishi, Yamaichiro were in the dynamis xarc we had scheduled for tonight. The names look JP so I am guessing they don't check the schedule on QCDN, but still sucks to gather 30 people they find out someone has taken the zone right before you got there.

They said 40 min left but thats to late to enter for our est people so had to cancel. Figured by the time we moved it would have been to late anyways.

So what's the flame about...?

Sucks that you lost the zone, but really?

This is so ironic coming from a linkshell that hardly adheres to their own schedule that they post.

fission mailed?

I hate puns :|

Was anyone else hoping Ferque was part of this flame?

I was really disappointed.

Not even a single ninja lot

Sorry for such a pointless and weak flame, should have never even posted it. Just one of those things where your in the heat of the moment. Sucks when you got 30 people ready to enter a dynamis zone only to find out someone else is in there, I'm sure we aren't the first shell to run into this.

Any and every time we have had to change zones for any reason we have posted it. We are a new shell, with a small but growing base of players. Some times we need to do a different zone because of who is or isn't at this run. We can't always have a melee change to a mage like many more established dynamis shells can, most of our newer members have one 75 and thats it.

If you would like Audino we can go back to not posting a schedule, only this time we wont work around the other shells we will just take what we want. We can just have a free for all every Sunday night, see who can gather fastest once one shell makes a move.

Sunday night is becoming a popular time to run dynamis, the 4 shells in that slot can choose to work together or against each other, post like yours, even on the FB, help to promote the latter.

No, it doesn't promote the latter. Last month there was a post from your shell about a half hour before the run time switching your zone to a different zone. It was also stated that it was just because it was free that night and because you couldn't change to the jobs you needed. I won't get into what jobs are most valuable where, but generally, to have a successful run, all the zones in dynamis need an adequate amount of specific jobs.

I can understand 30 minutes before your run you post you're changing because someone stole your zone, thats something that can't be helped. Otherwise, following the schedule you post can be helped. Especially since as you admitted the nights you run, many other shells do as well. There were other instances where KusaiDangos changed without notice, just as recent as last month. I don't remember the specific date, but while my shell was looking for a free zone, we look at the schedule on here and the schedule in the game was a little bit different. Even if you did post a change then it definitely wasn't updated in the Dynamis Scheduling area.

Thats cool. Then you can be just like the people that you are bitching about. And don't threaten to stop using the system because you can't handle a small remark about hypocrisy.

More importantly, sucks that people are just randomly taking your zones. JP's on top of it because no, they don't come here to look at our scheduling system.

That logic doesn't really follow-through, though. When I (re)formed my shell, I only had 13 members show up for a zone. A good number, but not all, of those members only had one lv75 job they could show up as. In fact, one of the black mages in that very run was level 70, and we actually had a dual-boxed white mage and Paladin (14 total characters, 13 total persons).

We stuck to the schedule we'd posted, and won by shifting party dynamics around from their normal restrictions (i.e. we had black mages in the tank party, we had thieves scattered all over the place...etc etc.)

Just because yours is a new shell or because you have restrictions placed on your members (bear in mind that I myself have only one 75 job) doesn't mean you have to flipflop your schedule repeatedly because you don't feel you can do a zone "the accepted way".

I'd say that if you have any shadow of a doubt that you cannot handle a specific zone before you post the schedule, then don't intend on running that zone, and run San d'Oria or Bastok a few times prior to handling something like Windurst.

tbh, I don't see how you could have the "wrong jobs" for Xarcabard and change to, I assume, a city zone instead.

Really, I've done Dynamis - Xarcabard with 1 BLM. You don't need BLM's in Dynamis - Xarcabard at all. All the stones are weak to melee and can just as easily be soloed by a SAM as they can a BLM. Hell, a THF can solo them, as can a RNG.

I assume it was BLM's you were missing, as you wouldn't be able to do many zones if you lacked WHM's.

You're bitching about them changing zones at the last minute to a zone that was already empty and unscheduled? OK... Then bitch more and then admit your shell had to do the same? OK...

I guess I fail to see how or why you have any position to pass judgement.

There's plenty of shells out there that don't care to post their schedules but instead at least look at the forum to make sure they don't bump into anybody. Not sure if you noticed but there's a lot of "pick-up" dynamis groups going on since the update. Our shell uses the system but that half month before the official start date we were making attempts to avoid everyone else. I also mentioned they changed on a whim without posting. Like I said before, if it was noted and not updated, that's something else. Unlike you, I'll admit when I'm wrong and if that's the case, I will.

I guess you do fail. /shrug.

OK...

So what you're now saying is a group that refuses to post a schedule because they're a) don't care about doing so or b) is a pickup group which doesn't check the schedule and goes on a whim has any position to bitch about a zone being taken that's not on the schedule. Really? I mean really? No one who refuses to post a schedule has any position to bitch about a zone being taken, even a pickup group. Why? Because if they can't be bothered to post, then they can't be bothered to be helped either. This is no different from two pickup groups suddenly conflicting and one of them getting butthurt because they didn't get to enter as if they own the zone or staked claim somehow.

Let me put it to you as clear as day, if the zone is empty and unscheduled, it's free reign. You have absolutely no reason to bitch if it's taken by a pickup group or a group scheduled for another zone. Shit happens, deal with it.

Im confused but I have no desire to re-read to see what i missed... thread/derail fails.

Use the scheduling system, use it correctly, be courteous to one another.

It should be that simple, any further elaboration would only cater to people that lack common sense.

Since dynamis isn't instanced (and it really oughta be) every zone is free reign. The point I'm making is when you post saying where you're going to be and you're only going by your schedule a quarter of the time it sort of defeats the purpose. Again, with the occurence of random people gathering and picking a zone that isn't on anyone's schedule shows courtesy on their part as well. Lacking certain jobs for whatever zone you're scheduled for is a weak excuse. Yep. It does happen and shit gets screwed up far too often and I've been dealing with it for years now. So is "shit happens, deal with it" your general attitude towards the OP as well?

Why do people think the qcdn scheduling forum gives them some rights over other shells? It's nothing more than a courtesy that people post there planned runs, there's no way to reserve a zone before trading the hourglass in-game. It's something that's been bugging me for a while, considering how many shells don't even use it...

Also, isn't there a "w" in wreck?

I didn't say it did.

I am going to be stating the obvious, but sometimes the obvious really does need to be stated. Dynamis Scheduling is nothing more than a tool to notify others of your planned schedule so you can avoid conflicts with other groups. If you refuse to use the schedule, that is your choice, but groups that refuse to use it have absolutely no other way of notifying all the groups of their intent. If you cannot be bothered to post a schedule whether you have one or not, then you've shown no courtesy to other groups to help you out and they will give you none in return. To them, you're nothing more than a pickup group and at, that point, it dissolves into nothing more than "first come, first serve".

Sure, they scheduled another zone on several instances, but they're not required to take those zones. Scheduling is nothing more than a tool to avoid conflict, but according to that tool, there was no conflict so they used it to better assist their own shell as it was set up to do. Perhaps, that slightly inconvenienced other groups who didn't put up a schedule, but at the same time, if they had put up a schedule, they wouldn't have had the trouble.

Or how you have any position to pass judgement on Audino's comment when you are in qcdn's top 10 list most pathetically ridiculous hypocrites in history?

This just in Lavi, shut up.

How cute, my favorite troll came back to stalk my posts again. As usual, you have nothing to really say other than he still got a hard-on for me. Seriously, get over it. If you want to talk shit, at least get with the times and stop crying over shit from 2 years ago. I'm sorry you still have a stick jammed up that ass of yours, but bringing it up every chance you get isn't going to remove it, now is it?

This just in, Nyett's still a pedo. =/
