was wondering if anyone could tell me how hard it is to get 40K CP (and if there is an easy way to get it)

my scheme is to switch to Windy, get rank 8, buyThese for my rdm and be happy ^_^; any tips? am i stupid? what?

That's a LOT of work for something you can probably get through other means, like buying there for 1.5x the price in you nation's CPs.

Tip: Level a LOT with signet on. There is no other way really.

To give you an idea of just how much exp it takes: I got about 40k in the span between 47 and 60.

I got 36k CP or so i just dont use CP often.

Wait! you can buy stuff from other nations but for more CP? why did no one tell me!? Not that it makes much difference to be honest...i never use CP on anything lol. But its nice to know.

question: does death lose CP for control of region of ur nation, or CP's for yoursefl,...or both?

what i figure is be a full time dunes and qufim island person (lvling all jobs to 25 lol) and do tons of OP supply runs (ill buy the homin rings with leftover CP before switching)

(also: when u switch, do you lose all CP u have [as if u switched back would it be there?])

the plus of all this would be having fun with diff jobs, lvling subj's, getting the cool windy storyline (from what i'v heard), getting tons of Beast seals (= $$$) and such...

lol no 1 said that in this thread... but that is true (except for rank 8+ items, which is why i have to switch)

If I remember correctly, I calculated it out to be about 7.5k exp for 750 CP, or 10xp for 1 CP. I don't know if that varies by level / mobs, but I would imagine not.

So, for 40k CP, you'd need 400,000xp. That's a whole f_ckload of subjob levelling. You could also go the route of trading crystals to Gate Guards, but the cost to get 40k CP would be just ridiculous.

Dying in a region with Signet on will decrease your nation's rank in the region, but will not cost you CP.

If you switch nations then switch back to your original nation, you will still have all the CP you originally did (confirmed this when we spent all of an LSmate's CP prior to her switching; she was then told by the embassy that her CP will remain in a bank for her).

Edit: hooo! If Mariox is right with his numbers, I'm way the eff off... then again, it may have to do with who's nation controls the current region. I didn't pay attention to that when I was calculamating.

to get 40K CP, you nead to make 27K exp in area your nation is not in control of.

I'd love to switch over to winderst to get the gloves, but getting rank 6-8 would be pain. Along with losing all my outpost warps when I switch back to bastok. Maybe if had some people who would help me finish missions. Then just level up noob jobs to get exp fast.

EDIT:
Conquest points(per kill) = (monster experience/10)*Region Modifier

First place. 1.5 everywhere
second/third place: 1 mod in nation on your control 1.5 everywhere elce
nation tied for second and third: 2 for killing in first place regeon, 1 for 2nd/3rd. 1.5 in beastman area.

So when your nation is tied for 2nd, thats the best time to fight in area owned by first place

does death lose CP for control of region of ur nation, or CP's for yoursefl,...or both
Neither. Player death increases beastmen control of the region. For me with rank 10 cp increase item, it is just under 10k exp for 1k cp. So to get 40k cp will mean at least 400k exp. You've got a lot of work ahead of you.
when u switch, do you lose all CP u have [as if u switched back would it be there?])
Your cp will still be there with that nation, however you lose all your outpost warps you had earned.

Conquest points (per kill) = (Monster Exp/10)*Region Multiplier

Region Multiplier Table

Nations Rank First Second Third Beastman

First x1.5 x1.5 x1.5 x1.5

Second x1.5 x1 x1.5 x1.5

Third x1.5 x1.5 x1 x1.5

Example, if you kill a even match mob at 100xp and your nation is in First place, and your nation is controlling the land, your CP would be:

15(CP) = ((EM Mob)100/10) * 1.5

thats about 15cp/100exp

and mario, if u wanna, do it with me, we can static ranks 1-8 and static EF runs (it takes 13.5 EF runs to get 40K CP)

so it takes 266,667 exp to get 40K CP about and it takes 263,150 exp to get a job from 1 to 53.

so i'd say lvl some no0b jobs a lil for some fun inbetween EF runs

*(i got all this info off a CP post on allah boards)

10xp = 1cp? Hmm... I have over 100k CP now and I've spent about 30-40k CP in the past. All this confirms that I spend way to much time on this game.

Got 220K CP right now :p hardly ever use um. maybe it pays off now that thay adding new rings to CPs.

Never done EF runs, hardest part is finding time to do it. in the time to get rank 8, probubly just alot of CP just from normal exp. leveling bst, rdm, rng.. etc.

If there was a posible time we could do missions, I'd be all for it. Don't have all too much extra timet tho. Just hate thinking about 3-1 and 5-1 :P

but I'd love to get those gloves.

Can you explain that table a little better Ziphor? It is a bit unclear, look like everyone gets 1.5x bonus. Does it benefit people in last place or first place?

sorry rones >_> i have no clue, thats just what i took out of a post from the same thread i posted on allah (lol i wanted 2 opinions: Broad and peeps i knew a lil more)

*edit* By the way, anyone have a link to an updated EXP guide? (as in: lvl 21-23 = 6,200 EXP)

Nations Rank |First |Second |Third |Beastman

First (windy) |x1.5 |x1.5 |x1.5 |x1.5

Second (sanD) |x1.5 |x1 |x1.5 |x1.5

Third (bastok) |x1.5 |x1.5 |x1 |x1.5

Ok, say your nation is bastok. and your killing stuff in Dunes. Lets say Dunes in undercontrol of Windy. So yo go to "Third (bastok)" and since your fighting in area Windy is in control of go to row 1 "First". Which is modifier x1.5

Now if bastok has control of dunes, you look under "THird (bastok)" and the row "Third" which has a x1 mod.

First always get 1.5 mod, fighting in any bst controled area is 1.5. only time you get x1 mod is when your fighting in your OWN nation controled area (and not in first).

o yeah, does it cost (gil) to switch nations? my friend says its 1mil+, which i say is BS.... anyone know?

You can purchase other nations conquest point items by going to your home nation and talking to the guard inside the embassy you wish to get conquest items from. Again, it is 1.5 times the amount of CP you would normally spend if you were from that nation. You are also only allowed to buy another nations CP item if your nation is higher rank than that nation. Since Windy is almost always first this might not be an easy task. Not all items are allowed to be purchased by outside nations as well. Only items I know of for sure are the rank 10 items, the Aketon and some other junk, but other than that I never really checked.

The amound of gil require to change allegiance varies. For rank 1 nation its 40k gil, rank 2 is 14k gil and rank 3 is 4k gil. I believe these numbers are correct but it might vary a little more depending on conquest results. These numbers should be correct as I switched once in the past and I waited until Windurst was in third place which took about 1.5-2 months.

Yep, but you can't purchase this item. Even though it's obtainable when Windy is 1st or 2nd, the only way to get it is to be a Windy Rank 8...

LMao 40k is nothing for me now XD

Been playing this game for yrs, and I'm whm main so I don't need to use CP a lot, I have around 154k CP atm, if you don't believe me, sent me a pm and I'll show you the screenshot ^^. Could have been around 160k CP >< if I didn't level pld and keep buying instant warp scroll :P

not to be a dick, but, Vandoura...ur post had nothing useful for anyone other than to gloat....

but thnx lavi and mario for clearing things up.

So. Mario. Let's switch and get rank 3 ASAP so we can start EF statics (which are suprisingly easy if you know when and where to do it)...i mean 13hrs (we dun have to do 13..jus saying) of EF vs days on end of exping >_>;;
