I will try to be as to the point as I can be and while I won't mention any names (most people know who you are) there are somethings in this game that drive me crazy. Here they are in no particular order:

1) "The DD Tank" - this is the guy who is more concerned with store TP then actually tanking. i.e. a pld who won't rest between battles cause he's all about his whooping 500 dmg from spirits within. You my friend are a drain to your party and a nuisance to mages. If the DD's aren't doing enough damage then get new DD's. A good Skillchain with Burst will do 3000 dmg so who cares. Your 500 dmg is causing more downtime and less exp for all knock it off!

2) "Stingy Mage" - he's the one who ends every battle with more mp than anyone else and is more on his knee then on his two feet. i.e the whm who doesn't use more then a Cure III or the blm who never uses more then Thunder II. Stop being a pansy! If your so afraid to pull hate then get a new tank or go back to the sissy house you came from.

3) "Rdm/Nin wants to party" - I am a Rdm so I will say this as clearly as I can. YOU ARE A SELFISH PLAYER! Don't get me wrong, the 74 Rdm/Nin is one of the best SOLOERS in the game but for you to have the nerve to sub a nin in a party and try to melee is amazing. There is NO possible way you can enfeeble, refresh (not just yourself ass), haste, backup cure, MB, and melee/blink. You not even supposed to take damage with a good tank cause your hits are so weak you'll never take hate. It's just sad people are so desperate for a rdm they allow it.

4) "No warning guy" - This is the clown who with any warning says last battle got to go, bye. Are you kidding me? We all know how much time we usually have, stop bullshitting people and its ALWAYS the same repeat offenders. We have all had to leave unexpectly at some point, even me, but stop ruining other peoples parties. Funny side note, some clown tried to pull the force disconnect/warp cudgel move on us (this is where you equip a warp cudgel before you pull the plug so when you log back in you already warped and people think its a d/c) but we knew and believe me I'll never party with him again.

5) "Backseat player" - We know who this guy is... The one telling you to voke when you already did or the one whose accuracy is so bad it must be cause the mob needs to be dispelled for evasion boost so he keeps telling you to Dispel for no reason. Even the guy who wants to do the skillchain thats best for him not the one that will do the most damage. Worry about your own damn job! If someone really isn't doing it then replace him. Its's that simple. In must cases its someone who doesn't know what he's doing and should mind his own business.

What if it's a taru. They would spend more time on thier ass ^^.

Is this a shot at me? Is my static Rdm taking a shot at me? :P
Seriously I know I end battles with a good amount of mp, but if you notice I am usually drained at the end of the chain.

Which brings me to one of my pet peeves: The OVER nuking Blm. You know the ones that are completely drained of MP after the first 2 fights of a chain. Sometimes you can explain it to them and the smart ones understand, but most time, they just dont get it. Besides being drained or drawing hate, there is another, less obvious reason to hold back :TP. There is a reason a party's toughest fight is the first one of the night. The melee are starting out with 0 TP. I tend to hold back and let the melee struggle with the first mob and build some TP. This allows the party to settle into a rythm quicker and allows the xp to flow faster. It definitely becomes truer as the game progresses. It's all about the skillchain baby!

36 BRD already? Wasn't it just the other night that you hit 30 in my party? Damn you level fast!

Very nice job. I like this guy also.

Hehe i agree

I use alot of MP as a BLM that i never get full MP when i party only when im not.

Oh and another thing for the mage thing if you dont have anything to cure silence then i suggest sitting your ass down and healing your fudgetastic butt!

Everytime i party and someone gets silenced they just stand around waiting. Just heal damnit it whont do anything just heal MP (for the mages only).

Love it ^^

I would also like to add one if I may:

Tourist: Generally average player who barely pulls his weight, then suddenly "has to leave" only to join the pt right next to you. Later on you will find him 1 -2 pt's away mingling like hes at a cocktail party >.<

There is a fine line to dance on between over-nuke and under-nuke, that's where judgement comes in, look at the mob type, tp and the damage your melees can do with their insignificant pokey-type things. :P
i try and heal a bit early on low vit mobs so i ca save mp, try and make it count by using multiple skillchains in a battle, most war/nin, mnks nins and sam can manage to get off 2 ws in these higher-level battles i've gotten to... especially with high vit mobs where party relies on you, the BLM... the burst adds a whole extra spells worth of dmg... and hell, if you got it, that jse aparently REALLY increases the amount of mp you got after a battle... most of that as summing you up in a longer form O_o
you're my hero... after paleblue meximan qutera pauk rayn KIIRO Gemini Techno Fatelinegod... well.. you make it to the hero list...

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks the BLMs job isn't to

NUKE NUKE NUKE NUKE NUKE

then scream at the tank for not keeping hate -_-

Bah! You must have taken my spot in that static when I wasn't able to level with them anymore...

ahem ... someone visibly need to learn the "hate" concept ...

1) DD in tanking department does not mean "Damage" it means hate. And it's fairly recognized amond the PLD that spirit within is a major hate tool. Not as useful as a full MP bar, but with refresh up and between pulls of a chain the few MP you will able to gain with your dark staff does not justify the lost of all your TP. In fine, it depends on the equipment/race of the PLD and his tanking strategy. Should i precise that hate managements for the other types of tanks mainly rely on dmg ?

2) This one tend to piss me off. Healer SHOULD NOT use more than a cure III if they not obliged to (using CURE V is slightly different, it is "hate free"). BLM should not, in any case, blow their MP in one fight. Even with a PLD tanking. And no, over nuking does not mean better XP. It's mean more MP loss for the PLD tank, so shorter chains, so less XP (when not dead BLM).

Hate management in a party is teamwork. Be a part of it, or be an XP leech, your choice. /rant off

Let me address my thoughts on each of your counterpoints:

1) If the pld NEEDS spirits within to hold hate you have a problem. You will never do any decent amount of exp per hour with that strategy. I suggest you either get a thf or drk/thf to sata on you or buy more emnity gear. If your in a fast paced party "being constantly refreshed" you will never be able to keep up. You will find yourself out of mp and this will hurt your tanking. Also the whm will have to heal you more during and after battle if your not resting so that means the whm is standing more, not resting and more downtime. Take a knee and instead of doing sprits within every 2 rounds, you do it every 4. Flash and cure are your saving grace not damage. What makes a pld so good is that they cure themselves so the whm has more mp and the battles go faster.

2) Not being a stingy mage does not mean you should be a nuking maniac. I don't know why you would draw that conculsion? This one is kinda related to the first point. If you have a shitty tank, lets stick with the pld example, then obviously abjust accordingly using low level nukes/cure and never invite that pld again. The cowardly stingy mage does the minimum about of casting with a good tank and I always say to myself "if there so scared of pulling hate, through up a stoneskin and a blink thats why SE invented them." In good parties I've been in you can use good chunks of mp and yes if it recovers quickly (i.e. you have a good rdm and the members rest, even pld) then this is a good party. EFFICIENCY drives exp not dmg and thats why we crank out 5-6 chains consistently.
