Okay, I admit, I'm not that high a lvl. I've only recently made 30 for my first time as a monk. I was in kazham the other day trying to get a party together so that we could most likely go out to yhoator. I had a few people from my linkshell that wanted to join and it's kazham so job choices were obviously restricted quite a bit. Although amazingly enough I was able to find a taru whm before we even left jeuno. Anywho, on the way there my whm tells me that a blm is interested in joining our party because his party ditched him/her after death. So when I get there I do a search on the name and find a whm in the 50's. I invite him nonetheless and he changes his job to his 29 lvl blm or something. We go out to fight and this guy starts acting like the lil yellow button is beside his name. We argue for about ten minutes about what we should fight. They want to chain mandies for meager experience despite the fact that we could fight mandies in yhoator for 200 a pop. Then since I objected to the mandies, he says we should hunt gobs in yuhtunga. I suggest that we just fight ivory lizards because I've done so before and they're a HELLUVA lot easier than the gobs i.e. no suicide bomb. If none of you have fought them before, they offer the following advantages: no suicide bombs, their worst move (petrify attack) only hits a single person, they're much easier to fight than goblins, and best of all they give the same xp as gobs! What does our player with a plethora of experiences say other than "In all of my 8 jobs, I've never fought lizards here. We should fight Goblins." So... if you've never fought them before, I had the previous day, then how does that qualify you to tell me that they're too hard to fight? I'm sick of people being such damned cowards in this game :P When it comes to tanks, pullers, chaining experience, and doing certain missions it takes a certain amount of balls to do it well! Another example of this is the fact that people are now going into Valkurm at lvl 10 to lvl instead of 12 or 13. A lot of things are possible in this game that a lot of people don't have the guts to try, and I'm sick of people calling me a bad party leader because I wanna try something different that will *probably* help us out in the long run. He had the nerve to call *me* a noob because he wanted to fight more dangerous prey when I *knew* we could do better. Anywho, peace out, and if you see me in vana diel I'm always happy to help anyone do just about anything if I can :) The name's Bodhidharma!

Whoa... this may be the biggest necro ever. No other posts and over 2 years old. <.<

But dammit... Bodi was a buddy in my LS way back, but under a different name, he restared his character at some point. Can't remember the name for the life of me. Fuck, that's gonna bug me now...

Hmm, I don't want to pervert the course of justice.

The thread stays open till someone solves Sanoske's dilemma.

Roaast the noobs on an open fire!

How could you wish such a horrible fate upon the rescue rangers?

How do you think that one rescue ranger (Monterey Jack) got so fat? It sure wasn't from munching on nuts! >.>

Yeah but noobs taste horrible....... Arent you afraid the retardation will spread through the noob meat?

Send the noobs to Blackmagik. It doesnt get any worse than that :)

That's why all carnivorous chipmunks carry Noob-X with them! (It's like Gas-X, but instead of cutting down gas it cuts down on the detrimental retardation effects of ingesting noob meat). Noobs are easy to catch, and as such make an easy, albeit slightly toxic, meal for them without putting forth much effort. Carnivorous chipmunks also ingest noob meat since it acts as a mild hallucinogen (everyone knows noobs don't see things the way normal players do) and gives mild sensations of euphoria (Noobs are often quite pleased with themselves, even when they shouldn't be, and their tendency to exist in a state of mania taints thier meat thusly as well).

ibtl

I'll read the thing later though. Wall of text makes me scareded.
