52 and no spiders PLZ OMGLOLBBQ!!!11!1!

I'd say give spiders another shot, but try a PLD tank. I've been there a couple of times fighting spiders, everytime but once with a PLD tank. I found that the PLD could keep hate much better than NIN against spiders. Sure, a NIN can Utsusemi the sickle slash away. Thats *IF* the spider is looking at the ninja when the slash goes off.

I'd much rather have the PLD taking 400 dmg off the slash than one of my mages taking 800+ dmg off the slash because the NIN can't keep hate.

This may have just been a bad ninja, but from what I saw he was trying his damn best to keep hate, he just couldn't.

Try Boyhada Tree again, with a good PLD who you know can keep hate. I will promise you that you will do better.
 
I ghetto PLD tanked spiders lvl 52-54 and never died. I did hit 2HP once though and got invincible off in time for a Cure IV from the WHM and RDM. :?
 
Partying vs spiders takes alot of balls on the part of the PLD and alot of reflexes on the WHM. After a few atempts I would say make a cure IV macro made specificely for the PLD and use it as soon as you see sickle slash starting.
 
Yeah....I don't have cure IV so no thanks to PLD tanks and Spiders...I'm a SMN/WHM

as 62SMN in bibiki bay I can spam cure III's and still watch the PLDs hp go down.
Past 60 main heal is a pain in the butt I so wish I can get fenrir soon so I can start DD at 65.
