Today was a good day. Better than most.
After a bit of seeking and attempting to make parties, which never got started, I got an invite from Barthiaus(sp) to Boyada tree. Now I was PTed there a few days ago with Blazn and Rone and we did well, but the exp was poor unless we chained like mad men. Which would have been fine with me, had another party NOT camped directly ontop of us! However, thats off subject.
Anyway... Last night Barthiaus(sp), Torque, Makelith, Gbo, Cocy, and I (sorry if I forgot anyone) were jamming down the waterfall near Ancient Goobs spawn(s?) at a decent clip, even with a second party. Around 500 TNL Torque and Cocy wanted to leave, and after only being in the PT for an hour I was slightly disappointed. However After Cocy left and was replaced by Gbo, and after Torque left, Bart, Makelith, C-something (Elf WHM, you know who you are!) and I continued to pull proc's with just the 5 of us in an attempt to get my 66 and Shark Bite. After 30 minutes I had 66, and was now hoping against hope the PT would stick around for 2 skill points. However, on the pull directly following the one that resulted in my level up, I was too busy typing to friends about my new found level, that I ran my butt into a Korrigan! XD
Deleveled and feeling like sludge, I expected it all to end. WarpII and my butt sitting in Jeuno cursing under my breath. However, it was not to be. After being raised I imediately asked our Drk Makelith to pull for me while I was weakened, while I continue my Thf duties. He agreed and we continued to pull 400 more exp out of our bums and I got my level back! We all stayed another 20 minutes or so, until I had Shark Bite, and then we called it a night.
What a nice bunch of fellows they all are! If you get to party with any one of them, I'd consider it a good thing, for sure.
...wow.. That was.. long winded. Think anyone will read down to this part? if so.. (f;,
f I'm sorry
