Working at a video game store I get this a lot... I have parents constantly coming up to me asking "what game is good for my 5 year old daughter?" What should I say? I have a mother and her son come into my store. Her son is 7 and can not read yet. They buy at least 100 dollars in video games every week. I'm sad and at the same time it isn't my place to say anything. Bad parenting? Well yeah. I didn't get my first video game system until I was 11 years old. I had a normal childhood. I read, hung out with friends and never disrespected my parents in that fashion, and.. well I turned out just fine. Just last week a 9 year old had his PSP stolen from our store. This was the only thing screaming in my mind... "Who the fuck gives their kid a 250 dollar machine?!" (He put it down btw, it wasn't just stolen from his hands) people ~_~;
