I don't seem to understand what the point of having something in your bazaar if you don't wish to sell it. All it does is waste other people's time that are looking for particular items. There are 3 reasons that people put up items for 99,999,999:

1. "It's so I don't accidently drop it." Honestly, how stupid are you if you drop a Seal of Genbu? How on earth did you get the responsibility to hold it in the first place if you're that big of a f*** up (can I cuss here?)? If you don't wanna accidently drop something, there is a little thing called a mog safe...

2. To show off. Who cares? I don't, and I highly doubt anyone else cares that you have a emperor hairpin, etc.

3. To actually sell something worth that much. Do you really believe someone will buy your air tank for 99,999,999? If you aren't selling a Kirin's Osode, Speed Belt, some immensely rare +1, etc., put it up for what it's worth or keep in your damn safe.

>.>; heh.. i feel the same ways.. some times~

sometimes people put it up in their bazaar to show that they're selling it. Sometimes they want the buyer to offer a price on the item they put up there. But most of the time they just want to show off, I see a ton of people with like high level +1 gear down the list in their bazaar for e-penis +1

Yes you can cuss here.......i'm with you on the Bs in bazaar

i'm looking at mules outside upper jeuno i run into the same fucking shit...

Stop wasting are Fucking time safe or storege that shit!

Well not to sound like an ass but,

How about people worked hard for the item and have pride in it?

They are selling it but want to get the best offer possible?

As far as so people don't drop it, that's just dumb to harass people for that. They re being extra responsible by doing that.

Also for level cap and macros for gear you don't want to be swapped in!

I've done that for god pop items before to make sure that I don't accidently leave it behind in my mog house, like I have done with other things before. It's not good to make your whole LS wait because you didn't bring the pop item. Another reason could be so they don't accidently put it on the AH, as has happened many times before.

I agree that it is annoying, especially for a compulsive bazaar checker like me, but there are some good enough reasons for it.

Also since this is the Flame board I'd like to add in the

"Fuck you I do what I want, I'm not making you check my bazaar."

I do it for items I am going to be using in like a level or two just to show everyone I have it...Like I had my erreant gear in there at level 70 till I could wear it just so people knew I had it to switch to...

Most of the time what I do, to show people I am prepared for the next level, and so I dont drop it (by some freak accident).

I keep god pop items and stuff in there so leaders and other members know what I have. And also like someone said so I don't forget it in MH.

Actually, you know those hakutaku eyes? Well they are very useful to bazzar as for some strange reason, they like to stick at the very bottom of your inventory, so I think those should be justified in this case. However, I just keep mine in my mog house, which is much safer.

Sometimes I have some stuff that isn't mine, eg: I go on Tongan's account and take his Empy Hairpin and Leaping Boots. When I'm done playing around with a job that can actually equip it, I don't want to clog up my Delivery Box to send it to him, so I just keep it in my bazaar for 99 mil, so I don't drop it. And vice versa, he just holds stuff that is originally mine til I log in on my account, to just hand it to me.

Or sometimes, he makes me things, and they have meaning to me. He made me a Willow Wand, his first HQ anything in Woodworking, and even though my WHM was, like, level 50 at the time, I kept it in my bazaar. And you don't get a "Are you sure you want to drop this?" message with little stuff like that.

I put random stuff in my bazaar because I feel like it, and I don't give a shit if you think I'm wasting your time.

I'm guessing you've never had anything important enough to bazaar. When you're exping and you have something that stays at the bottom of your inv that is important. . . Then bazaaring is a smart idea. (idk about anyone else, but if i get a freaking bug wing in my inv. I automatically toss it). If it bothers you that much, don't check people's bazaars. Pretty simple isn't it?

Oh come on, everyone is using the "so I don't drop it" excuse. How many times have you people had to redo your AF quests? I'm a miner, I probably drop 600 items a day on purpose without screwing up. You have to either be drunk, high, or awake for 48+ hrs straight to drop something important.

Seriously, you've posted 4 times in total on QCDN and THIS is what you're bitching about? Get more creative. If someone want's to bazaar for max amount, why the hell do you care? I find this amusing.

That's like posting about manthras wearing opaline. Or Elvaan's wearing subligar. Dont like it? DON'T LOOK.

I tried bazaaring a warp Cudgel so I wouldn't always forget it. It works up until I use the cudgel and forget to rebazaar it. -.-

Based on the ammount of people who have accidently overbid on items or bid on the wrong items at the AH, fell prey to the bazaar scams, or even accidently tossed things that they didn't mean to toss, it DOES happen. People aren't that concerned with things they could easily replace, like an AF piece or a cheap item, but when it's something worth millions of gil people like to err on the side of caution; there's nothing wrong with that.

I honestly don't care about bazaars with 99999999999999999999999 items anymore... UNLESS they are standing out in Batallia Downs in the middle of all of the real bazaars. Then they are fucking assholes. If you're out xping or in town chillin' or whatever then do what you want. But take that shit out when you go to bazaar-land. It's bad enough checking 100 bazaars for what you want without 20 more all 99999999999999999 items.
