A la Media Luna

Un arco de
luz, esperando un
fin.
El fin de una ternura,
de un dolor.

Es lo que es
más importante
antes de acabar.
La que resuelve el
problema, sin haber terminado.

Y al capturar ese
rayo de luz,
resplandece.
Y me permite
sonreír.

Para volver
a ser yo,
tú ser tú.
Aprender quién soy
y eres.

Porque al caer es
sólo una mancha,
un recuerdo.
Para siempre,
para mi amor.

Aparte, en
mi propio resplandor,
se refleja
mi laguna de
lágrimas.

Todos mis
recuerdos de
la Luna.
De mis Medias
Lunas.

Me abandonan,
pero les acompaño.
De la vida
sólo sé llorar
por siempre.

Y se avivan
en la muerte,
mis sentimientos.
Una locura cuando ya
loco no soy.

Ecos eternos
en un pequeño
río de emociones.
Que culminarán
jamás.

There is an "Edit" button for mt's.... :?

How the hell does this fit in with the Reality Sinks In forum, anyway? {Congratulations} on being able to write down spanish lyrics?

It wasn't a mt... That mt part was a joke... I just wanted to share a poem I wrote, not some lyrics. I was going to write one of my English poems, but I liked this one more... It has a better meaning. If you want to know the translation, I could do it, but I don't know if it'll damage the meaning.

Ok - that's cool. Sharing your own work always rocks. *If you could translate for those of us who can't read spanish - I would love to hear what your poem is about ^^

lol, sure...

To the Half Moon

A bow of
light, waiting for
an end.
The end of torture,
of pain.

It's what's
most important
before ending.
What solves the
problem, without it ending.

And, once it captures that
ray of light,
it glitters.
And it lets me
smile.

To once again
become me,
you be you.
Learn who I am,
and who are you.

Because, once fallen,
it's just a stain,
a memory.
Forever,
for my love.

Away, in
my own light,
it reflects
my lagoon of
tears.

All of my
memories of
the Moon.
Of my Half
Moons.

They abandon me,
but I accompany them.
Of life
I only know to cry
always.

And they become alive
in death,
my feelings.
Madness when
I am no longer mad.

Eternal echoes
in a small river
of emotions.
That will never
end.

>< Damn that's hardcore.
I'm sure it's good and whatnot, but it made me fidgety.

I think I can only truly accept poetry if it's backed by music.

Poetry is amazing stress relief. I write, but I'm kinda shy to share it right here, but if you are clever enough to find out my real name, and search it on Poetry.com you "could" find some.

I liked the poem a lot, the english doesn't do it's beauty justice. Spanish all the way, though I only could understand about 2/3 of the spanish, the english filled in the rest. Nice work.

one to be born
from a dragon
hoisting the light
and the dark
arises high up
in the sky
to the still land

veiling the moon
with the light of eternity
it brings
another promise
to mother earth
with a bounty and mercy
