Is anyone else getting the POL Error That says : Network Busy or blah blah blah? I know a few people who are already done updating but I can't update atm.

EDIT: I guess if I wait until playonline.com says the servers are up I will probably be able to update.
 
everyone trying to download from the same server does that, but by the next few hours or most likely the next day it'll be good to go. It's just a lot of server traffic, I'd just do something for the day then try tommorrow unless it's something important.
 
I don't know how people are done updating, I stared about an hour and a half ago and I'm at 25% so far and it still says I have over 3 hours @.@.

if you cant finish the update before servers up, you wont be getting on til tomorrow lol
 
Lol all you guys with the slow internet are why I can't download. I think the longest I have ever taken to update is 2 hours.. and that was after a 7month break.

Idk I started 15 mins before end of maint and I'm still going fine :<
 
Some people like to feel l33t so they delete or rename a file and then run check files. That allows you to get the update before it is officially up.

keep hoping then, because the people who are getting off work plus the people who wait until maintence is done to start the update is about to add a bunch of people to the total amount of people downloading lol
 
I started about an hour and a half ago on mine (3:30 CST), and now I'm 15 min til completion.

Yeah I'm slowing down a bit, going, but slowly still D:
 
I logged in fine on my PS2 but can't update on my Windows one.
 
I started at about 4:55-5ish and got done about at 6:15. Guess I was lucky lol
 
im online and have gotten my map of Sea and my GF finished 30 min after me. i;ve gotten her map too. double besieged is coming and only 460 people online.
 
Hopefully we somehow manage to keep the candy because I know after I'm done with all this homework + update I'll want to do some meriting =D.

It might be because these are the peak hours for everyone to update. The majority of the population gets home roughly around 5:00 average for their local time, so starting around 6pm EST it gets really busy traffic for the servers.

I'm not sure what the deal is but I used the online tech support and the dude told me to change the Port Forwarding numbers on my router so I did. I asked him before closing out "Is there anything else that can be a problem because I never had a problem like this before?" He says start from there if that doesn't work contact us again.... WTF I have to wait another 2 hours for tech support. Oh wait I can't even get tech support until tomorrow... Great.

Hmm.. maybe it would've been better if I kept DSL instead of switching to a cable connection. I bet my updates would've been done by now :o I was almost 50% done downloaded then got that error message too and have to redo it again :/
