that lil tidbit aside the only thing dumber then the name is some of the responces. scroll down and attempt to read SDOT DA KING's reply. only reason i could read it is cause i had training readin blazin's posts.

Not nitpicking, but this would really fix it to "not offend anyone":

Also, his "given" name was misspelled

A given name is just the P.C. way of saying "Christian name" though, as Ali's parents, who gave him the name, were not Muslim.

Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. (his original name) was born in Louisville on January 17, 1942. His father, Clay Sr., painted billboards and signs, and his mother, Odessa Grady Clay, was a household domestic. Although Clay Sr. was a Methodist, he allowed Odessa to bring up both Clay boys as Baptists.
