Bring 40 73+ people and vtra = dead. One alliance takes Vtra. Other alliance takes links. Have back ups incase peopel die and to help heal.

Will that happen with the way things are running now? I highly doubt it. That second alliance would rather train every mob in the zone to kill the ones with the claim, even if they kill themselves in the process. So what if you don't any gil from it. Wouldn't you like to be part of the first alliance to take down the most feared Dragon in Vana'diel? I sure as hell would be proud has hell to even be part of the alliance taking care of the outside mobs. EVeryone is caught up in their own glory and wallet that they can't see towards the greater good. Hell, you'll never see a Bard in JSE. If I was a bard, I'd be pissed as hell that a group of 40 or more 73+ people can't come together. Hell, 64 can come together to do Dynamis, why can't 40 take down Vrtra? It just makes no sense. All I know is at 70 if I ever make it there and have the privilge to fight HNMs, I hope everyone can put their bullshit aside. Remember the intro movie? Play it again. I don't give a shit if you flame me or laugh in my face. I know you are all wrong, even if I haven't taken a step into battle myself.
 
And Rasuto too. If you check out the other pics, you see them "trying" to share hate. Looks like Vrtra is pissed at everyone lol

not that i have anything to add to this thread, but killing those dragons is no where near as easy as bringing 40 people together. :p

Yes getting the help is the hardest part. So having the most possible friends and the least amount of enemies helps alot ^^. Especially with everybody from all over the place.

I know what you meant, but I know it won't happen because of the dickheads lurking around the corner with even more people waiting for any chance they can get. Plus, I don't think any of the HNM linkshells have 40 people each. If the came together to kill one mob, thats a different story. But again, they all suck balls. And until they pop the nuts outta their mouths, Vrtra will just keep laughing at them.

And yeah, that has to be at least 2 alliances.

And yes with that amount of people wanting in, some people will get left out from time to time. But I'd much rather have the opportunity to be left out than no opportunity at all.

actually, what i meant is that getting the help/group of people to do this would be the easiest part. after having the awesome experience of having Tiamat bash my head in a few days ago, I started looking into the strategies (often well guarded, for a reason) necessary to kill these dragons, including Vrtra. Not only does it take some unconventional ways of doing things, but also a lot of practice and the ability to fight together (which isn't as easy as it may seem if you don't know what I'm talking about). I know there are HNM LS's on this server with at least 40 people in them, but there's a reason why no one fights over these pops :p

It's nice for us to talk about killing them and all, but until you're looking down their throat, it's a whole other story lol

well the kote gives +10 accuracy, gaiters +12% movement speed, and the ore are the main ingredient for Barone Corazza which 8mil?
 
Well Molybdenum Ore is the ore used in making the Barone armour. aka the piece of armour in which there are only ... 2 or 3 on the server lol

The Noritsune Kotes are +10 accuracy for Mnk/Sam/Nin, and Alla says there are listings of 118 million for this, but only a single selling so I doubt there are enough of these to get get a price on.

And the Heralds Gators are for Mnk/Whm/Blm/Smn and give MP=12 Evasion+8 and movement speed +12% So I bet they will go for a high price lol
 
krisy WTF!? I never once said or claimed I knew anything about HNMs! but what I do know is that there is alot of NA MPK NA with the HNMs which is evident on the flameboard! stop saying I was talking like i know about them!

Where in there did it mention anything that I knew of HNM or the tactics. I simply was stating this bitching between the NA n NA MPK NA needs to stop and we need to start working more like a group. That is what I got from the first post of group up to help calm the JP down of MPK n controlling spawn times and the second topic was that of the constant bitching and MPK going on amongst the NA community over HNMs.
