People come and go from these forums and the game in the past people placed there goodbye thread in many different area let it be Good Times, General discussion, or real life section. The proposal that is on the table is should these threads get a home? A sub forum attached to the good time forum. A place where you can look back and see those that have quit in recent past. A place where new comers could look and say that where <insert name here> has gone. As it stands now a person leaves and they forgotten in a week because there thread go to the next page, but if they had there own section a person can easily find there departed friend. That section can also be doubled as a taking a Long break section. (and a month is not a long break)

So the question is Should There be a farewell section?

Idea started at this thread. Posted here so more viewers.

People are just as easily forgotten when they post in the "Introduce Yourself" forum.

This "idea" really required a second thread? I think the mods have enough real work to do without creating a random forum we don't need because people can't comprehend how to use the search function or are incapable of locating the Good Times forum. If someone is "forgotten in a week" then they really weren't someone that meant something to you anyway now, are they? These goodbye posts aren't meant to be tombstones... They're meant to be notices and a place to recall friends and good times. Hence... they are located in the Good Times forum. Logical huh?

goodbye threads are the only GT threads that arent shit on in the GT board so nah i dont think it should,

This discussions is already going on in the proper forum. No need to make multiple threads regarding it.
