Hello, I'm Elohim.
Like many of the newish players, I'm actually very old! ^_^
When FFXI launched back in '02, I was one of the first Mithra on the Leviathan server. This was my first MMORPG, and it took me about a year to get to level 45 WAR / MNK, due to dithering around with other classes etc. At this point, I quit out of frustration with million gil price tags, NM overcamping, etc.
Since then, I got WoW, but sort of "beat the game" pretty quickly; by the end of the year I played it I had aquired most of my Tier 2 Epics due to running a raiding guild and pwning Molten Core - and I just didn't care enough to go on to BWL and all the rest. I was yearning for the atmosphere of FFXI.
Now I'm back as a Tarutaru BLM/RDM, and I will get to 75 by gum!
Anyway, I hope to meet and make many friends in Vana'diel, be silly, role play from time to time, and get to the end game so I can try Dynamis, Sky, Sea, Assault, Limbus, and all those other crazy stuffs.
Shout outaru to my LS TeamHavoc, who has welcomed me back into the wonderful world of Vana'diel.
