Hi everyone. I have been away from FFXI for about 3 months already, but it's time I made this official. I have cancelled my account. I just wanted to come on and thank everyone that made my 2.5/3 years on FFXI fun and memorable. To my friends. please know that nothing is wrong. I am fine and I am just at a point in my life where I can no longer commit to playing a MMO like this anymore.

To my dear friends in SpiritzUnleashed I am sorry I didn't come on to bid my final farewells. If I had I probably would not have been able to leave. I can't thank everyone who played a role in Tyrr's journey, but I can't go without some messages to my dearest friends:

Taray and Leeeleee, my deepest gratitude for making me a part of your SU family. You guys inspired me to be the best I could be and I can't thank you enough for being great LS leaders. Bro and sis, being in the leadership by your side was my greatest honor. When I look back at all we worked to accomplish I can truly say I leave content without regret. We did a lot of good with a lot of great members and I know you'll continue to take our friends to new hieghts. Godspeed. Glladia, I'll always know you as mom! Your commitment to our members was steadfast! You were always there for me, every event, every quest, every monster! I salute your commitment to always helping others! Thank you. Badger you and Morwen run a mean Dynamis shell, I wish you both every bit of success. Go, go Excalibur! You are a blast to talk with and if I ever get on a plane to England you, me and Akitsuki are hitting a pub! Akitsuki, I know you got busy towards the end of my playing, but the short time we got to know each other I really enjoyed. Morwen, I'm gonna really miss our late night chats... Er... that came out dirty... Our REALLY plutonic late night chats. We could and did talk about everything and I think we both needed that at times. You are a dear friend and I will miss you! Mice, you know more about this game than even me. I loved chatting up about gods and Alchemy and everything! I know that with you there everyone is in good hands. Foosk... DERP! Dude you made me laugh every day. You made some of of those late night god pop grinds a little happier. Taari and Dalron, sorry I won't be around to put in bid dates for your in game wedding anymore, or be there for that matter. You guys are my favorite XI sweethearts! I'll miss you both a lot! Dristen, what can I say kiddo, you drove me nuts, but I like ya! You really turned it around when you went SAM buddy. I'm proud of you.

Wow, this post is already crazy long... And I know I'm gonna forget people. If I didn't mention you I'm totally sorry. Nothing personal, honest, I just can't list everyone or I'll develop carpal tunnel syndrome! Suffice to say I want to thank everyone else in SpiritzUnleashed for their ongoing support and hard work in making it one of the best Linkshells on Quetzalcoatl and certainly my favorite and my home. Also, an additional thanks to all my friends outside the SU Linkshell. There are several of you who have helped me along the way and while you may not be part of the SU family I'll always consider you part of Tyrr's. Remember to respect each other, work hard, play hard, but above all have fun. Remeber, it is a game! I know you'll continue to go far and have fun. This has been a memorable chapter in my life that sadly must come to a close. I will miss you all and wish you every happiness in life!

Clearly, I do not check these boards often enough... and with good reason.

I had no idea and I held onto my hope of seeing/hearing from you again. You have my email damnit, just because you leave the game doesn't mean you have to leave me! Yes, I'm being selfish but I think I have rights. You're like a brother to me Tyrr and I hope and pray for nothing but the best for you and the Missus (aaaahhhh clever wordplay... yeah not really..). I know there's really not a chance you'll see this, but I have to at least post on it. Everyones been worrying and wondering, I dont think any of us saw this post. I got a txt at work telling me it was here... It is unfortunate, though I know for the right reasons. We all had a feeling it was coming, it just sucks when it gets here.

We all love you Tyrr, and I'll miss you terribly brother. Farewell.

I really miss you, Tyrr. We all understand the RL issues and wish you the best. I'm wishing you and your wife the wonderful life that you deserve.

If you ever decide that you can come back be sure that you look us up, we'll probably still be here.

I never post on this site.... but I had to after seeing this. You might not remember me, but I was a bard long time ago on SU and you were one of the nicest people I know on the server... always helping people and such. Well, I wish you the best of luck in RL man. Take care!

And yeah, just like morwen said, just cause you exited game >.> dont mean you cant contact us :P. But anyways. Not like you would read this but you were one of my best friends on there bro. Tyrr awesome Monk will be missed. Possibly one of the coolest dudes on the game. Sad to see you go bro. Good luck in real life and I hope you're enjoying what you are doing right now. Much respect to you because I know you worked hard for your things. I wont forget you guys asking me to come out for Dalron's assault jerkin on my THF. That was funny when the only hits I landed were SATA lol.

It took me a few days to really understand that you arent coming back. I just want to say thank you for being the most loyal person ive known. You will be missed my brother. You and I have fought through alot and you was always my right hand man. Anything i ever needed help with, you always was at my side. Our death counts in dynamis was always a funny laugh. Probably why i havent been back to dynamis in a long time. When you got K.O. I was happy because you deserved it. Its honestly just insane not seeing you anymore and im sure you got alot on your shoulder, but you got friends here that wanna continue to hear from you. You have my email address, and i can leave my number also. Just want to say that ill always be blessed to have known you and on the behalf of Spiritzunleashed, we all will miss you and thank you for being there for this Linkshell and making it a powerhouse.

Tyrr, you will be greatly missed. By both Dalron and myself. It took me a while to come on here and say goodbye because I wanted to believe that one day you would return. You were like a brother to me, in times where I was down your kind words set me right again. I thank you for being such a kind and caring person, always willing to help another. I hope you will not forget those that were close to you, and just know we will always think of you. You my tele-partna in crime will always be a friend, one close to my heart. Wow, look at all these kind words. Fond farewells.

Really, when its all said and done only thing you can walk away with from games like this, are the good memories. You can't take your items or gils with you when you leave, just the memories. But when those memories truly are great, they'll be a part of you for years to come.

We never talked, but I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors.
