A [GM]'s blog

Anyways, even if the guy is a GM, he obviously doesnt do these kinds of things and gets away with it without anyone ever hearing of it :|

If anyone reads Allakhazam's FFXI General forum, they'll probably remember [GM]Dave. Yes, he was a real GM. Note I say was. He was a complete asshole, handing out random bannings, totally unreasonable as to why he was doing it, and generally Not Good. But he banned one too many people for one too few reasons, and the banned got in contact with the senior GMs, and from what anybody can tell, [GM]Dave was fired.

So yea, there are screenshots of [GM]Dave being an asshole to people, but it's not the same as the guy in the blog. For one, he never -actually- fed people to dragons, he just gave them 72 hour suspensions for botting at NM camps when they wern't even running windower on their machine.

Go digging on Alla, you might find the thread.

Lesson learned: Real [GM]Dave = asshole. Blog [GM]Dave = funny.
 
I don't think the blogging Dave is real. There is no way a GM would be able to say the things he has said to a subscriber. Atleast, I'd hope not.

Anyways, while I don't know anything about what a GM can do, I find it hard to believe half the shit he said he has done. For example, where is the forum topic on KI stating "OMG KIRIN's OSODE 1 GIL!"
 
I don't know. Whoever the guy is he has a very good understanding of the game. So A. he is a very avid player or B. an actually GM. just because he writes that stuff in his blog doesn't mean he does all that stuff. it could be his way of venting anger and frustration or just passing the time.
 
They're not an actual GM, it's just a humor blog from some guy at allakhazam.

If for some reason this is ruining your enjoyment of the blog... go back to the rock you crawled out from under.

Nah, they are enjoyable to an extent. The massive suspension of disbelief somehow kills me though.
