ok, this cat Ajbi invited me to join a party, I did, he made me the leader, and I finished out the party by finding the 3 hardest jobs to get (bard, paladin, and White Mage). at first I thought he was Japanese and just couldn't use the translater very well.
we get out to Gustav tunnel and I find out he has no idea what a skillchain is, or why he should wait for Double Thrust before setting off SATA Viper Bite. He has no idea that heshould wait for the mob to turn away from the pld to SATA off the pld. He just randomly SATAVB off of the Dragoon.
And gave no warnings for anything he did, because he didn't know how to write a macro. When I was tryin to teach him how to write a macro with the Translator function is when he finnally tells me he has no keyboard.
So he gets his macro, and it says "tp100 ready for use skill 2-3"
no <tp>, no <call> no weaponskill name.
Our only saving grace was our wonderful Bard, Lally, Who I gave a linkpearl too because she kicks so much ass. She Kept bard effects up AND got enuff TP to finish Distortion.
So when I decide to go to bed, my replacement goes to Kuftal on accident instead of Gustav. No problem I can wait. Then the Pld (Japanese) leaves very aburtly, once again, no problem a friend of mine was seeking as a Pld on the same lvl. He was already in Selbina, so it didn't take him long to get to Gustav. Then I warp the old Pld out and see "Ajbi uses a scroll of instant warp" and then he drops from the party.
So, what I did, was get a Drk to replace his stupid ass, then all was well.
that party lasted for about 2 hours, I died 2 times and got about 3000 xp overall after the deaths.
My experience with Ajbi is one of the worst FFXI experiences I have had in over a year playing this game.
The interaction with the rest of the party was one of the best experiences I've had in a couple of weeks.

ill make sure she knows what a good job she did ^^ but for that dude. I dont know how people get pt's and level ups. it's very fustrating when you think you dont have to deal with it at higher levels but truely you do.
