Anyone seen the trailer and pics of the Revolution controller? If not, goto http://cube.ign.com and go from there. Download the teaser movie too ^.^ What do you think of it?

I see some nice possibilities with the controller, especially in the FPS games. I wonder still how Nintendo will do when their system makes their debut. It's very creative to say the least how the controller looks like.

and I though the ps3 controller looked bad
wtf it look like a tv control more then a game control.

today in gaming news ps3 got a boomerang for a controller, nes got a tv controller, and who know what xbox is going to have

I hope madcat and pheiox come out with custom contolers :(

I voted "What the heck is that!?!?!?!", which I believe is a neutral flame.

I am very skeptical of it; however, I am not going to jump the gun and say it "sucks". First, I need to see how it does when the system actually comes out. I thought the Gamecube controller looked ridiculous, and yet, it turned out to be one of the most comfortable and easy-to-use controllers I've used!

So, time will tell if the Revolution controller can defend against the critics. Who knows? It could turn out to be.....revolutionary!

lol, it's ok Nintendo says they'll come out with a cradle that looks like a 'normal' controller for all the classic gaming you'll be doing playing the old school NES, N64, and SNES games... so it's alright.

The 'controller' will latch into the cradle and become one. So you can still play your fighting games and etc... i hope it looks similar to the SNES controller.. the best controller of em all!!! =)

I think I've stated my opinion on this more than enough :\ not a fan.

how about the "I've seen stuff remotely like it before.. it's called Delta Airways or whatever" gotta have a counter option to yours, Trippy :P

Yeah because those have Motion/distance sensors in them....

Where is the option "Initial reaction wasn't positive but I am willing to try it before I bash it."

:D

I was confused about the number of buttons. so far it has A and B...great and for those of us who would like to play something other than NES games?

As for the actual idea...sounds cool i would like to try it.

from what it seems, the main part has x and y, the big as always A button, and then a B 'trigger' and then on the attachment it will have a joystick and Z1 and Z2 like ps2 has their r1 and r2

And the PS3 ZOMG!

How does the PS3 compare anyway? I mean i will be buying for game reasons...but how does it compare on a power scale? Apparently the revolution is this generations powerhouse.

I have heard the graphics on the Xbox 360 are nice, plus it has Shenmue and halo 3.

The revolution is supposed to be a powerhouse and i get to play all my old games i never threw away. and it has SSB...<3 SSB.

PS3 has... a weird boomerang controller?

So far it looks like a non-contender, in my opinion...

well i its look odd ......... but iam must try it 1st , who knows i may like it 8)

PS3's controller is actually under changes right now.. Sony actually listened :P plus you can always use PS2 controllers or PS1. And it's power will match and even slightly surpass X-Box 360's.

The PS3 is supposed to be the most powerful this upcoming generation, which is the opposite for this generation. However, as we all know, power != quality, so the PS3 may end up being the new crapbox.

And just in case you guys haven't been reading any game magazines, which is blatantly obvious by some of the crap you guys are saying, the Revolution may require you to purchase downloadable games (NES, SNES, etc) before you can play them.
