The following quest changes have been made:

- A job level requirement has been added to the quests listed below. The required level varies from quest to quest.

The Rumor/Intermediate Teamwork/Healing the Land/Altana's Sorrow/Making the Grade/Curses, Foiled A-Golem!?/Know One's Onions/Acting in Good Faith/ Stop Your Whining/Secret of the Damp Scroll/The Sahagin's Stash/It's Not Your Vault

-A new level requirement has been added to the quest “An Explorer's Footsteps,” and the once-a-day offer restriction has been removed.

-Supply quests can now be undertaken only once a day (Earth time).
*Players must wait until 0:00 JST before attempting to retake the quest.

Wow, Thankgod I just did the tele scroll quests on a mule to make some gil. Was planning on doing the drain and aspir quests this weekend. I guess the teleport scrolls are going to go way back up in price now. Which isnt necessarily a bad thing. They do take alot of work to get, even as a lvl 1 mule.

Problem was that RMT we're spamming them using PoS Hacks. The requirement is probably somthing low, like 20 or 30. But now they cant just recycle characters, fame them up, and hack the reward.
 
Getting to lv20 or 30 isn't gonna take them long though.
And with less mobs to camp, with those changes, might just give them enough free time to get needed level.

That however, is time spent where they could be messing with us though, so w/e.


Them getting gil from quests > them camping "our" mobs.
 
RMTs ask for gil now from players too just like the noobs! I helped someone in my LS yesterday get to the island in Batallia downs for the Stone Monument quest, and I still needed that one too so I took a clay tablet there.

Ahtu was up, so we claimed it before the RMT fish bots there I'm guessing could take it from us and got the quest item key. Then a couple of the RMTs there were saying to me: 5k gil trade?

They sent me a trade, I didn't do anything, and one /t me back and said: okay? and I repled back with: Oh, I thought you were giving me some gil. and I cancelled the trade and got one right away from the other one.

I wish I had a few mil on me at the time though, otherwise I would've put that in trade to get the RMTs all excited, and cancelled it on them.
 
I have to say I never actually thought about RMt doing it. Ive honestly not seen anyone around but it makes sense now that I think about it! But I tell you what, out of all the changes made in the game, the one that makes me happiest is the ability to change from merits to exp in any area. That just rocks my socks! Im such an easy to please taru!
 
Lol, if they're running out of ways to make fast easy money good job SE... it took them several friggin years just to get rid of RMT.

Now we'll just have a bunch of lv 1 anon jibberish named players sitting around begging for money.

Maybe we could sell them gil! OOOhhh sweet justice.
 
What's truly upsetting is that they still can't come up with a better file delivery system.
 
They should do it BitTorrent style like WoW =3
 
Bit torrent would be awesome, but I'll bet they can't implement it because of the PS2's limitations, as usual.

Well, easy work around: host the BT file on the POL site. PC users will just need to do the file check and they'll be set.
