A lot has changed I see...

[Thirtyfour]

Hi Quetzalcoatl, Its'a me.
I havnt played FFXI since it came out for the PS2.
CoP, ToA, and some other expansion pack are all new to me.
How much has the game changed?
I used to play wow up until 4 months ago I have a few level 70s (3)in Zuluhed and Fenris.
I mean is FFXI still about parties and the crucial party set ups?
You know... A tank... Ninja, Threat control Thief or /thief, another melee with provoke for Skillchains and SATA control. The refreshers.... RDM or Bard, Healer Summoner or Whitemage and a possible Magic Burster.

Hows the economy? Haubergeon still cost 2m?
Will i have a good start with the 9m i left the game with?
Are my jobs 75 RDM, 75 NIN, 75 BRD, 75 THF, and 75 BST still in high demand?
I quit knowing I'd never get my relic sets or weapon lol...
Is Kirin's Osode still the best Body piece you can get even though there's been damn near 3 new expansions with new content?

Please please PLEEASE tell me I wont have to get a good linkshell just to do stuff in FFXI still. I mean I know its about he linkshell and community, but I dont want to have to wait in line for my gear again lol.

Give me a holla.
Or an update on what's new for the game. Alla/KI are still .... laggy as ever.
I'll be back!

[Flag]

You're welcome in my LS if you'd like!
A lot has changed, really. You can gimme a shout when I'm on later, and I can give you the lowdown. There's really too much to type and I'm at school atm >_>
Forum name = IG name, I'll be on at like, 1:30 PM EST

Oh, and just as a bonus -- Hauby is like, 300k on Quetz, if not less.

Also blah blah, check Arc's sig for rules, etc etc he's slow blah blah.

Welcome back^^ Things have changed a lot while you've been gone. Same offer as Flag, look me up if you have any questions. Another thing I can suggest, look up random things that you remember about the game on Wiki. Lots and lots of good information there. Also, mission how-to's and such for all expansions.

Your jobs are still quality, and 9m will buy you about anything on this server.

www.ffxiah.com will show you some of the economy.
