a new persona game for PS3 ?

I feel betrayed...but at the same time I expected it. :/ It's about one of the only games that would make me want a PS3.
 
I dont see why this is a surprise to anyone considering how much Atlus has been supporting the PS2. Its only natural they will be going the next step and going to the PS3. Ive noticed alot of people have somehow thought that all of a sudden companies like Nippon Ichi and Atlus would be going to the Wii because its not as expensive to make than the PS3. But with a new Diseagae and a new Persona, its obvious those companies are going to stay PS3 for awhile at least.

They have announced a decent amount of titles on the Wii and DS as of late so it seems like it's not to far off the mark to think that.
 
True, but at least from what Ive seen, I could be wrong, the main games in their series seem to be going PS3. Although I would love a Wii Diseaga

It's surprising considering how the PS2 is still going strong and that there's no real reason to move to the PS3 yet when they can reach about 50x the audience releasing for the PS2. I hadn't heard anyone expecting them to move to the Wii, only that they should stay with the PS2 since there's no reason to go to the PS3 yet.
 
I agree with Baja :P PS2 woulda been cheaper to make (I believe), met their game's demands (unless there's something to them that really requires the PS3's power) and get more of an audience.. but *shrugs* whatever. Could be a contract reason

PS2 is shitloads cheaper to develop for; not to mention being significantly easier.
